Current nahi output voltage is amplified.... Input voltage is Vbb which has to be amplified. Now increase in base current increases collector current several times and so voltage drop in the output side increases...(V=iR); (i directly proportional to V) And when transistor is used in common emitter set up, it functions as an amplifier.
