Actually come to think of it , it reminds me (in concept) of The Ice People by René Barjavel. That gave me some things to think about.

Haha, it was incredibly weird! But, it was also really deep without the comedy getting in the way. His prose is also beautiful. I've read that he writes books one sentence at a time (as in, he perfects one sentence before moving to the next) and it really shows.

Haven't heard of The Ice People, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it.

If you liked this book I’d recommend both jitterbug perfume and skinny legs and all by the same author. I found tom Robbins this year too and his writing is really good and relevant to today.

Oh, I'm absolutely going to read more of his work. His prose is unlike anything I've ever read, and his characters are so unique, but somehow still very relatable.
