- Sevilla is 2.5 hours from Marbella in Malaga, we explore the beautifully preserved Spanish tradition of Feria in its full Glory at Seville Fair of April.
It was 38 degrees celcius in Sevilla and but we had to dress up like a Gentleman. it was well worth dancing with everybody dressed up so sharply.

Feria de Sevilla or Feria de Abril(April fair) has just finished last week but we recommend to go for nearby Feria de Jerez which is starting on the 4th of May(next week) and will last for a week.
We genuinely think its a better feria to go to because all the places are open to public whereas in Seville, only 10% are open to public and the remaining are private parties.

Hey, my girlfriend is from sevilla but due to her study she can not attend this year😢,
I want to surprise her by trying to recreate the feria vibe by making food specific to to feria en other things so she can still veel like she is there.
The thing is that i know nothing about feria yet because we have been together for about 2 months. Do you know any dishes that would make her feel at home? Or specific decorations?

We have been travelling a lot lately and just been to Jerez Feria which is very similar to Seville fera(video out today).
To recreate fera vibes; I’d definitely create “caseta” the little stalls in shape of houses but putting something with stripes on wall preferably ref and white.
Food wise its mainly burgers and chips at feria 😅
A flamenco dress for girlfriend and a suit with bowler hat for yourself would complete the vibe.

Seville is known for being the hottest place in Europe. Last years Feria was the hottest ever!

In the title you write it's Flamenco, but it's not. The name of the dance is Sevillanas and it's something completely different. Other than that, nice video :)

Flamenco is divided into different "palos" (Subtypes). When you dance or sing, you are following one of those palos. The Sevillanas are older than flamenco, but since the 19th century, they are considered one of the "palos". As with some other "palos" of flamenco, they are the Andalusian version of what was being done in other parts of what is Spain today.
