No but t all I need is a distraction so I could knock someone upside the head with a bat if they come into my house My Boston is 3 months old and his bites hurt so I know that's an uncomfortable feeling when they feel him biting onto the calf and he Jumps pretty high so who knows what he'll actually get when he wants to.
@@brookejimenez6297 you can't expect a puppy to act as a guard or distraction they must fully be matured look up Boston terriers in schutzhund sport you will be amazed
Nowhere in my statement did I say I expect him To do anything What I said was that him biting Someone is enough of a distraction for me to handle it from There Furthermore I know my dog even at his age shows he can and will bite if he thinks your a threat it's up to me to be a responsible owner and harness that into productive training hence why he is trained in tracking obedience and protection did i mention he is super smart ...but ya You can't expect anything from dogs a breed doesn't determine What your dog is going to do they're all individuals If you ask me a dog's breed is like describing a color there are many variations of that color none of them the same but all Fall into the same category.
@@brookejimenez6297 I happen to know a little about dogs and dog breeds myself! I'm a retired certified k9 master trainer and have trained many breeds for home protection and tracking/mantrailing for search and rescue since 1980. So I know a little about this subject with years of experience. At no time was I trying to solicit a negative response from you!
They can be trained for protection as long as they have the temperament to do the job but they are not man stoppers by any means!
