Do you have a tutorial on content that contains music copyright claims....I do presentations on song and vocal analysis, and sing cover style, but is always sensored.

I think the media helps to portray success as fast and easy to obtain especially when you see all of these young music artists but if you get the real back story many times it wasn't fast or easy. Nor is it easy to maintain takes a lot of work, dedication, support and often money.

In summary, the pros and cons of podcast formats are:
    Audio:
Pro- less complexity, takes only one step
Con- limits amount of visibility, can only be viewed in audio only platforms
    Video:
Pros- open more visibility, videos are more searchable, can upload long and short contents
Con- you have to show up on camera
Now it's up to you to decide! 💪

From my experience, it's quite a grind to build an audience from scratch from a podcast only approach.having a podcast for two years with over 500 published episodes in a genre of Pop culture and entertainment to news commentary and original storytelling.it is extremely difficult to get traction .I recently attempted to retrofit some of those podcast ,adding some video elements.the rate of audience expansion is much greater on you tube .so my true advice would be focus on video podcast format, and just extract the audio to add to the podcast format.the money making potential of podcast is not a get rich process for certain

Interesting video. I've got a TH-cam channel already and certainly wouldn't consider it a podcast. Maybe I'm wrong, but most of my videos are explainer type and need the video component or they'd be rather useless to most people.
Still, I think there's tremendous value in this series for people just getting started. Maybe there's an opportunity I'm missing to do a news type video once a month and make that video into an audio resource as well. I'd have to think a while on that one.

Hi, this video was very helpful thankyou.
I want to create a video podcast with a mix of online interviews with people in various locations and sometimes in person interviews in my house. I own 2 canon 1dx cameras and a multitude of lenses and lighting gear so I have all of that and I just purchased a ring light and mv7 Microphone. But I am unsure what is the best and easiest approach for video/audio recording software I should use to film the online interviews versus the in person content?
I would also like to create the interviews as an audio podcast aswell using your tip of creating short form clips for additional social media content.
Can you please tell me is Zoom the best and easiest way to get started especially for the online interviews? Or is there an all in one video and audio recording software that will allow me ease of use and to achieve simple fast editing ? Thankyou. I am sure many people have asked this question already and I greatly appreciate your advice.

🙋🏾‍♀️thanks for the vid. I have a question. What if you already have an audio pod which you wanna upload to TH-cam. Do you recommend finding B-roll to lay over the audio, one continuous shot, or a blank screen with a logo? Some episodes are up to an hour long.
'An Untitled Podcast from Shantell Bancroft '
This is where Im at, at the mo. Also, for my vids to show up in search I'd need to change the titles. What works as a title over an audio episode will not on a visual video on YT. 🤔 Any thoughts anyone??

I agree with most of this, But An Audio podcast is not always so easy to do. First you need a place to to record that is quiet, away from cars, Lorries, aircraft etc and that is quite hard to find especially if you live in a busy city or town. Secondly the equipment, Everyone says to use cheap microphones and you will get pro sound, That is not true. You have to invest in a good microphone, a dynamic mic should be a choice rather than a Condenser mic, unless you have a sound booth, and even if you build your own booth you can add a few hundred more pounds or dollars, a Dynamic mic will be a best bet for noisy environments. The companies I use are Shure, Rode, and Sontronics. You then have to invest in an Audio Interface, These start from low prices say a hundred Pounds or dollars, but as with the mic you want a decent one. The companies I use, Are Audient and Focusrite. So, you have your mic, and your audio interface, Where and what will I be able to record with? Will I record straight into a computer? which can crash and lose your work. A Recorder, A decent recorder will set you back a few hundred pounds or Dollars more or will I be recording into a Laptop, Which is a viable way to do it, or an Ipad pro? Both of which cost an arm and a leg. I record into an Imac, and or my Ipad. Then depending on what software you like, may cost you nothing or a lot. I use garageband. Nothing is ever simple, and an audio podcast can be very rewarding and that is how I release my podcasts, Audio only. I use Spotify, and youtube to host my Podcasts.

Easy to recommend a video podcast when someone is young and beautiful, like the woman making this video. One size does not fit all. For people like her, I would say that a video podcast is the way to go. For a 70 year old person, not so much. Not all content creators are young and attractive. I think that she should consider that fact.
