The Matador Refillable Toothpaste Tubes are a less wasteful alternative to buying single-use travel-sized toothpaste, though they’re pretty niche in purpose.

This is actually life changing for those of us with allergies to ingredients in traditional toothpastes. The toothpaste that I use doesn't come in a smaller size so this is amazing! I've just been making room for a full tube but it means the toiletry kit is harder to use on trips.

I need tips on how to get the clip back on easily. It is so hard it doesn’t go on all the way.

Forget toothpaste. These are perfect for face creams and other liquid toiletries where those 3 ounce silicone tubes are overkill. I can already tell these would be easier to use and more compact than the other small containers I've tried.

I can actually see this being useful for really frequent travellers, like air crew. I personally actually fill up my travel tube from a regular one by putting their heads together and squeezing the fluid from one to the other. It's quite messy. This looks like a neat solution.

Just what I needed! The enamel on my tooth is super weak, so I can't go without the prescription toothpaste or I'd be in pain... So for the last few trips I've been desperately looking for a good solution (I'd resorted to refillable lip gloss tubes even). They were too small for longer 1-month trips so I had to take 2-3. So happy to know this exists. Thank you!

I just got these in the mail. I did an initial wash of them. While handling it, I dropped the cap for the two week tube. It bounced up and into a gap in my kitchen sink cabinet. I can’t retrieve it. I emailed Matador to see if the can send me a replacement cap. I hope they’ll hook me up.

I bought the Toothpaste 2 Go set which includes an adapter that you screw the travel size tube and your full size tube into. I didn't like their travel size tube because it was hard to get the toothpaste out once it was about half full and it took up too much space. However, I use the adapter with an empty travel toothpaste tube I've squeezed all the air out and it works great.

Try out Gregory Nano (and more Gregory backpack in general)! They have many sizes and are available easily also here in europe.
Nano 16, Nano 18 and Nano 20 seem amazing deals for daypacks and day hike backpacks!

Please can you make a video on 1 litre or less belt bags , which can hold a slim water bottle, iphone max pro , passport, airpods, keys and some money and cards …I can’t find a good comparison video on small size belt bags..

I bought these tubes because I use a specific type of toothpaste that does not come in tablets or in small tubes.
That being said, I clicked on the video to see how to replace the clip and that's the one part you skipped over. 😂😂😂
It's all good. There's no shame in trial and error.

Don't you guys have small travel size toothpaste in grocery shops, pharmacy, etc. sell in USA?? It's available in every town in Europe...

@@PackHacker2 in theory yes, but can you really buy toothpaste in big containers, and refill these reusable tubes, when they empty? I don't think so... And just by reading comments I had an impression, that is is some kind of a revelation for US customers, I mean the small size of it :-)

    • @theranman0000
      @theranman0000 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@cider999 you don’t seem to understand the point and usefulness of these. Some specific type of toothpastes don’t come in the travel size version. Also, I can buy one 4oz toothpaste for considerably less cost that buying 10 travel sized ones. Also, the one 4oz toothpaste is less waste than 10 travel sized toothpastes. It’s cheaper, customizable, and creates less waste. If you are someone that travels very often, this is well worth it. If you don’t travel often, then this is not worth it.

It's also helpful if you are going on a short trip and don't need that much. You can just fill this to where you need it rather than taking up the entire travel size tube

a bit pointless. buying a small travel toothpaste once a month is not a problem at all. and in terms of ecology - it's nothing in comparison to any random CEO flying a Gulfstream G650 alone 5 times a month.
