I hate it when they purposely drop the weapon (usually a knive) after they stabbed the killer, thinking it's over. Why put it down? Just hold onto it in case they wake up!

I hate when the killer seems to forget how to kill after their identity is revealed!!! In the Scream movies, the killer has Power Ranger abilities the ENTIRE movie until their identity is revealed, then they have park ranger abilities...DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!

I hate the"we just got away from the killer kissing/make out scene" They run one street over or a building over from where the murderer/monster just attack and they stop and start slobbing all over each other. Hate to tell you Tony, but I took four years of Latin in high school all the way through the AP level, was a member of the Latin Honor Society, graduated with a Latin honor cord around my neck and scored a 4 on the Latin AP Exam.

Graham Dixon lol, Well considering that a big chunk of my friends have either gone to law school or med school, we've got that Latin reading nerd quotient on lock. Add to that the fact that my husband grew up Catholic in a parish that still had mass in Latin, and I think my set is all good when we need to get rid of the demons. Maybe we should start farming our services out when the life saving ancient text come out once stuff goes down. 😁

Dionna Golder True, my school was pretty blessed when it came to options of foriegn languages available. We had the usual Spanish and French, but we also had Latin, Greek, Japanese, and German. Plus you could take beginning Arabic at a extracurricular level.
Catrina Jefferson I learned a few Latin songs and my ex also studied Latin. Just took it up for the fun of it and also we both considered getting into law at the time. I'm still considering. Plus, I'm writing supernatural fiction. gotta be able to reverse those spells lol. 😄

I hate it when they trip while being chased by the killer who is freakin taking his time just lavishly walking up to kill them like they knew that person was going to trip. Happens in every horror movie. Enough already seen it way too many times.
Lol the pets always have somebody blood on them too! Like why would I chase after you at any other point in the movie when I KNOW you were an accomplice in another murder. Oh naaaa

I hate when in the movies, they hit the killer to break away or even knock them unconscious.And the person runs away, but then the next thing you know the killer right behind them. Like no, if I got a good lead away from the killer, and if I turn to check behind me. He should not be within my sights that quickly. Unless he got some type of voodoo shit going on, or he knew some type of short-cut.

The one thing i hate in every horror movie that is a classic is when the killer is chasing the victim and the person that is getting chased just trips and falls and then acts like thats it if i trio and fall I'm getting right back up and hauling it outta there
So, we ain't gonna talk about when Billy leaves, then all of a sudden the girl hears a noise in a empty, dark ass house, and the first thing out her mouth is, "Billy....... is that you Billy?" Hell nah, it ain't Billy! "Oh Billy, you're such a kidder" *proceeds to investigate demonic death rattle*

I died at the lavish head tilt. How about in horror films like teens get lost in the woods, at a camp, at a friend's parents lavish cabin...with a serial killer taking them out....there's always the couple who wanders off to make out. Seriously, that would be the last thing on my mind. 😵😵😵
The one that gets me the maddest is when they run upstairs. I start yelling at the tv where are you going?! I never see horror movies at the theater.
Good list I just want to add:
1. They always fight the entity one on one
2. They breathe so hard they can be heard two blocks away
3. Someone always has asthma
4. People are always in disbelief after they see ish with their own eyes. *Witch can be in the middle of the street casting a spell. Cops: no way this is caused by witchcraft* 🤦♀️.

First of all, the chick with the high heels and running and falling for no reason, 2nd she runs into the woods where you can get turned around and lost. 3rd, the I am running to the car but, I don't have my keys to get in or start it. 4th, in the car with the windows rolled down and the doors unlocked what the CRAPPPPPP!!!!! 5TH, the party out in the woods or some remote location where there is only 1 way in or out and the nearest neighbor is 5 or 10 miles away if there is a neighbor at all! 6th The location is a place where multiple people have gone missing or have been murdered there!!!!! That's a negative for me! NO SIR!!!! I will not be attending that party or sleep over!!!! 7th Creepy stuff happening in the house and the phone rings and they answer the phone, whyyyyyyy!?!?!?! Why are you answering the phone? You just let the killer know your exact location! 8th stop hiding in the stupid closet!!!!! That is the first place they will look run out of the house! 9th Silence your phone, never fails, when your hiding your cell phone rings giving away your location!!! So dumbbbbb! 10 checking weird noises, NEVER EVER check noises.

I would also add the fake jump scares, when an animal, or their friend pops up with a loud sound...that’s cheap writing ....one of the things that I hate in The Conjuring (even though I think it’s a good horror movie, one of the best of the last decade) it’s the clapping scene...it’s so stupid and unnecessary...why would ever a demon, or a ghost, or whatever would come behind you and just clap for the sake of scaring you?

Tony this video inspired me to write a scary movie that tackles ALL of these troupes. A serious scary movie. Not a parody like the ORIGINAL 2 "Scary Movies." It's gonna be more like "A Cabin In The Woods" with a good ending.

This goes for those "family moves into a haunted house" type of movies: listen to your kids. Every single one of these movies has a child with a sixth sense about something strange or abnormal going on in the house. It is not "all in your mind" no, they don't need to "lay off the TV/movies, and comic books." You need to listen to what they are saying, chunk duces, and book it!

One of the most annoying is the when a 5 or 6 year old is telling their parents that they see something in their room or there could be something odd going on in the house but the parents still put the only child back in the room by themselves and the room is always upstairs far from the parents room.

Great list, Tony! I hate when the police or their friend is trying to warn them the killer is nearby and they dont pick up the phone--like they press ignore or turn it off or its a missed call. Or worse...they do pick up the phons and then they let the killer know by their facial expression they were just warned. Play it off..act like it is a regular phone call!! Sheesh!
Or the fool that's like, "OMG! He's in the house!" then they run PAST the front door to hide UPstairs!
