I’m British and outraged that Trump is still not in jail. Amazed that the American system allows a felon to be considered for the leader of the United States.

It was only a matter of time. She's been dragging her feet for so long, there seemed to be no possibility that this was going to be tried even though it is by far the most open & closed case facing #45 right now.

If she opens her slack jaw to spout this nonsense to the 11th circuit on appeal, she's likely to find herself in contempt.

And that decision will also be appealed to the supreme court and I'm not giving out any prizes for guessing how that will go.

That isn't always avoidable, but she has a track record of illegally interfering in other cases to protect Trump; she should've been barred from involvement the first time she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

Good thing she is unqualified and has no experience being a judge.
If she were she would have seated a jury, attached jeopardy and then dismissed. That would have ended the case forever with no appeals.

She wasn't in the first instance, she tried to claim jurisdiction. The second one was random, but I'm not sure what the odds are with how many federal judges are in that particular jurisdiction. It could be something like a 1 in 4 chance as a guess

She is, unfortunately, the only federal district judge in that area.
She was nudged by the Chief Judge in the area along with another senior judge to decline taking the case based on her lack of experience. She said no. I worked for the judiciary before retirement. That's unheard of. I've always said there's more going on here based on my knowledge of the court as an employee for 25 years.

This will get appealed back to the 11th circuit court who have changed Cannon's ruling before. but more importantly, she was 'tipped off' about this by SCJ Thomas, and Supreme Justices ARE NOT supposed to infer any sort of judgement on a case that they could most likely hear later, so he violated t another judge rule. Casue he knows if Cannon's ruling gets over-turned, it may go to the Supreme Court and he will rule on her behalf. He needs to be arrested and jailed by Biden as part of his newly legal "official duty' as president.

But they know that, that's why she is trying to go after the prosecutor instead. We'll see I guess.
