Hi Jon, Another cool project, Thanks for sharing. I enjoy turning that involves a few parts that come together to make the piece. A good chuck and mandrills for accuracy are a must.

Nice little project that one ... chess pieces always seem to be popular...
I have been planning to make a bishop chess piece and fit one of your chunky stainless steel bottle opener kits inside it ...
I have just bought a piece of Ash and will be making it soon... I have 2 other projects on the go...

Hi Andy, Hadn't thought of the bottle opener/chess piece but yes that would work - the best one I've seen was made to look like a beer pump with the top section that lifted out with the bottle opener inside.
