    Why do they never show the whole routine? In all the SELF vids? They almost never show the whole thing at the end they like cut through it. I don’t care if the result isn’t perfect, but I still wanna watch the end result of this whole shebang

      HeyItsBrooke it's a way of expressing your slef through making beats with your body

      Then tap is not dance, either. Making sound does not mean it can't be called dance.
      Expressive movement is either dance or language. I think step leans more toward dance. Also, steppers count off the same way dancers do, saying "5, 6, 7, 8". Musicians (trained musicians) count off "1, 2, 3, 4".

    So if it came from enslave people why would you want another race to learn this traditional message. A tradition with complex rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, spoken word, and hand claps. These messages were created by African ancestors gumboot dance, so it does matter the skin color and race if it's an ancestral message. I wish black women would stop giving in to the other races and enbrace her own once again

      Jesus Marshall what’s wrong with other races learning it and not all races enslaved African Americans???

    • @ananyakopalle3051
      @ananyakopalle3051 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Jesus Marshall that’s kinda like saying no one could learn something an other race made like maybe ballet.
