The very first stall of San Gan Zhong was at behind Kota Raya. Been eating San Gan Zhong since my teenage years . Now I am in my early sixties lol....One of favourite stalls.
Must correct the origin of the name of sam kan chong pork noodle. There was a row which had just 3 shops in the site of current Kota Raya. My mum tells me, one of the shops sold this style of pork noodles, the other 2 shops one sold yong tau foo and the other roast duck, roast sausage. I remember visiting the shop as a little girl (I am now 60 years old) and seeing the meat balls being formed as these rectangular slabs. My grandmother used to live near that area.

其实，它是叫作“三间庄猪肉丸粉”,不是猪肉粉，一般的猪肉粉是指有参猪内脏那种。猪肉丸粉，就是用长形的猪肉丸跟烧肠。，有一些还配有肉碎。
