The people who put the satellite forecast together forgot a map slide - the "current temperatures of the Upper Midwest". It was the only section of the country where it went from the satellite/radar directly to the forecast (animated icons)....the current temperature map should have been in between them.
I think I remember back then while watching this in 1996. I think something was going on with TWC. I think it was on the weekends like Saturday at around 6pm ct.
This was on July 26,1996 at around 3PM ET 2PM CT when this satellite local forecast appeared with 3 Trammell songs as i remember it when i was 12 years old i had already came home from school and i was at my grandparent's house and when i turned on TWC i saw this and i was so excited to hear the Trammell songs while something was going on with TWC and my grandparents didn't have a VCR so i had called my mother to ask her to record this for me so that i would hear the Trammell songs that were playing as i thought the tape was inside the VCR/TV but when i came home from my grandparent's house in Queens NY the tape was not inside the VCR so when she couldn't record this for me i was crying because i was afraid i wouldn't see this again or that i would not hear the whole Trammell songs so that's why i was crying but thankfully in late 2000s i was able to listen to most of the complete Trammell songs on TH-cam that were uploaded and thankfully 4 years ago this satellite local forecast that i was afraid i would not see again was uploaded on here but the only Trammell song we cannot hear the whole song is after the rain as i think he explained that after the rain was lost so that's why we are not able to hear the whole song except the other Trammell songs that we are able to hear but now TWC these days has reality shows on weekends and nights so i don't watch TWC that much anymore and i only watch WeatherNation that has 24/7 weather they cover severe weather and they play Jazz Music like TWC used to play and i hope someday WeatherNation plays Trammell songs on there and i miss TWC being 24/7 weather and playing Jazz Music.
On July 26,1996 i had came home from school in NYC and have gotten off the school bus and was picked up at my house by my grandparents because my mother had been in the hospital that time and my father was at work and i was 12 years old when i saw this issue and when i got to my grandmother's house and i turned on the weather channel i had saw this satellite local forecast with the issue and i think my mother had came home from the hospital so i had asked her to please record this satellite local forecast on the VCR because my grandparents didn't have a VCR and i had thought the tape in my apartment was inside the VCR so i asked my mother to tape it for me but on July 28,1996 it was not taped and when i came home and it was not taped i was crying because i was afraid i wouldn't see this satellite local forecast with the music ever again so i was crying but now finally i'm happy you uploaded this after 20 years. Thank you for uploading this.

Fun fact: In 1996 this was the very first weatherscan but later discontinued and later launched in 1999.
