So far you said RCL tends to accuse its guest for taking things from mini fridge and charging you for it ...and also the AC is messing up again.......do you have a lot of issues with RCL?
@@mikecruz9867 Oh that sounds really great. Thank you for this information, that's very nice. So sure I'll watch that video then because I'm always interested at the special suite cabins. Fingers crossed that it will go well for you.
I can't remember the last time our suite balcony had a light. Not sure if it's a safety issue or?? but haven't seen one in many, many years on any ships. Good video. Same basic Owners Suite layout, just nicer, (newer) finishes/furnishings...
Probably more of a "lets cut more costs". Went on Independence of the seas last month and it has a balcony light. Going on Mariner of the seas next week to see the 120 million refurb - they added abunch of stuff as well as stuffing in around 60 plus cabins - thanks for the reply
Perhaps you ment Ovation of the seas. I have not been on that ship as that class of ship leaves out of the upper east coast as well as a lot of Alaska cruises and I've been spoiled by just driving across the state of Florida and get on a ship out of Miami or Fort Lauderdale
I'm sailing on Ovation of the Seas from Sydney to Hobart in November 2018 - I'm planning a caribbean cruise on Symphony of the Seas for my 65th in 2026, & I thought an owners suite would be AWESOME!!!! WOW
I suppose you can bring your own stick up lights to put on the deck for your use. Wanting a bigger suite with a table and chairs so my friends and I can play hand and foot all night long.
Good video. Thanks for taking time to share it! Interesting to compare cruise lines. Carnival owner suites are the equivalent of 7 balcony rooms, about twice as big as RCL's and there are only 2 on each ship.. Any suite is nice, but this one doesn't compare well to other cruise line owner's suites. Still, I'd take it, if the price is right!
Nice. Thx for sharing. Was ur deck sunny, shaded, both? We have JS 10632 for next yr. And now 12636 is avail & wondering if we should ask to move to that.
Soooo ... sometimes the key card doesn’t work, the AC sounds likes it’s on the fritz and you have to use your card for lights? A brand new ship with these issues? I LOVE RC and will never cruise with any other company and this guy doesn’t make me want to cruise in one of these cabins.
I'm not sure what the sky loft is, but the crown loft is about the same price as the owners suite. the owners suite is 556 square feet with a 243 square foot balcony that allows for table and chairs, two lounge chairs. The crown loft is 545 square feet with a 114 square foot balcony. I just like more room outside and don't care to climb the steps to get to the main bed room. But to each his own. There is the royal loft an star loft but that's ugly money for those rooms - however you do get your own personal "genie" (butler)
The sky loft is dumb if you're sharing the suite with other people. There's no noise privacy upstairs. Everyone can hear everything you're doing up there because it's open to below, and vice versa. Curtains do not block sound. Pass.
I thought the paper was a great idea. In case u don't have an old card handy. I always thought they read the strip on ur card, but I'll be using paper next time. Thanx for the great tip!
Not impressed at all...the bathroom was nice, particularly with a bidet, but "tons" of storage space it doesn't have...I'm used to world cruise traveling and this cabin wouldn't be suitable at all...great video but just one suggestion...if your using a close shot showing your fingers/hands, a manicure is a must...
mike cruz Mike...didn't mean to hurt your feelings and, if I did, please forgive me...I just noticed that you do a lot of good, informative videos and it was just a suggestion...I wouldn't dare to be in front of the camera since I am an overweight aging female who just doesn't belong there. I did enjoy the video and the quality of filming was top notch...I mentioned it only to help...I do understand about the working man and much prefer him to the metro sexual type lol...again, please forgive me if I was rude or out of line...I really didn't mean to be...
Yep, for 'world cruise traveling' I suppose that anything less than a thousand square feet wouldn't feel right. Since about 99 percent of this ship's time is spent on cruises about a week long, the suite looks pretty big to me.
mike cruz Don't mind "Showdown"! They literally say everything is awful. Every video I have seen from RC they've commented negatively. Great video! Thanks for sharing.
TY Panama - Folks are entitled to their opinions - I just see it as they are jealous and/or envious of others. So to be negative and put others down they feel better about themselves - we can only pray for them
Finally a great video of an owners suite
You haven't seen the Harr Travel video?

Thank you for the video 🙋
Thank you for watching - if all goes well I'll have a new video of the Royal Loft Suite on the new Odyssey of the Seas in September

The sound at 0:08 seconds was the frying pan being hit over your head by another guest wanting to stay in your room. You've been warned lol
Thanks for make this video so good.

How does this compare to the owners' suite on the Ovulation of the Seas?

You did view the video tour of that suite, right?
Nice video good to see these cabins

How was your cruise on the ovation?
@@blakeholthouse9904 ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, can't wait to go again in 2023
There's a light above the Curtin on the inside of door, we used it to see while on balcony at night
Thank you for the info - did this on Symphony a few weeks ago and it worked quite well
Thanks for the warning. I wonder if I could bring a small desk lamp just in case?

Nice room, good video. Have you ever stayed in an NCL "Haven" suite? If so, how did that experience compare to this one?
No - We got hooked on RCCL twenty plus years ago and haven't tried another line.
Great video - thanks
How much does that run you?
Irish Annie about an arm and a leg
It ranges with the cruise date and length.
Mine ran about eight grand.

Carnival?! Haha...Just the mention of Carnival compared to RC is laughable

Good thing then you didn't book the suite.
You saved a bunch of bucks, and we didn't have to read about your whining.

it was sunny going and more shaded headed back - It's worth the move just for the added perks you would get -
Excellent video! What kind of camera did you use? The zoom on it is amazing!

I kinda liked his presentation. I am looking forward to my stay in August.
What deck is it? tx
This one is on deck ten but they have owners suites on other decks as well.
Think I'll go with the sky loft. This just doesn't strike me as worth it.

Instead of paper couldn't you just use a old card like a old gift card?
You sure can - good idea
I thought the paper was a great idea. In case u don't have an old card handy. I always thought they read the strip on ur card, but I'll be using paper next time. Thanx for the great tip!
I've seen a number of videos where they just stick a folded up sheet of paper.
Looks a bit cheap and cheesy. Not anything like the QM2. It's like a Las Vegas over priced suite with none of the panache.
Really glad you didn't book the room.
