**SIGH** Bees wings don’t work via the “normal laws of aviation”. NO INSECT WINGS DO. *BUGS AREN’T BIRDS.* Birds (and man-made aircraft’s) wings work via Bernoulli’s principle. The top of a wing is curved, forcing air to move faster against it, lowering air pressure only above the wing, creating lift from below. Bugs, OTOH, are so small they don’t need this. At their size scale, air (to them) feels more like liquids do to us. Bees don’t _fly_ through the air; they effectively *swim* through it. Their wings just beat enough air downwards that it produces just enough thrust to lift them up. So yeah, bees ARE impossible via “the normal Laws of aviation.” That’s why _those_ aren’t the laws which govern how bees fly. ;D
