- In the works for quite some time, this video was delayed at first because of world events and then technical issues; but finally, our modern review with plenty of range footage of the Swiss SIG P210 pistol is here! Well to be exact, this is an Army P49, complete with holster rig.
And since I am not the one to ask about accuracy, I decided to phone a friend to get his take. So in this video, we have a guest appearance by Rob Ski of AK Operators Union (AKOU).

great video. interesting to see Robs' spin on using it as more of a combat/police experience, than a target pistol. I have never shot or even handled one. A friend has the modern take currently available ad he says the trigger and sights are very nice. Learned a lot and appreciate the patreon perk. Thanks
swiss pistols are the cream of hand finished awesome firearms i would love to own one someday
Note that the A in front of the serial number stands for army and the P for private.

Since we recorded the bulk of this video back in Feb-Mar, i have had a commercial SP47/8 and a police marked P210-1 come in too. I 'might' be able to get hands on a P210-4 from the West German BGS/police too. So will do a followup video later this year. Personally? I only own one of these guns, but i try and show you all neat guns as they come through the gunshop.

If you take 100 P210s, dismantle and reassemble them using random parts, you'll end up with 100 P210s that work perfectly!

The way the bottom of the trigger swoops that far out is definitely different.
This pistol is set, by bade, to shoot at 50 m. And it wasn't unusual for me to score 100 out of 100 at this distance! Shooting with just one hand!
Beautiful pistols I scored mine off gb for 1800. And it looks pretty much unissued for being a 1950 and stamped p on the trigger guard
I can see that you're taking guns out of their holsters, and the gun safeties aren't on. This kind of oversight used to cost 3 days in prison in Switzerland!
Wooden handles were reserved for officers!

I have to ask: what of the (scoff) American P210? Any good?
I honestly don't have much of an opinion on the US made 21st century version.
As a firearm, they are very good. Same action and accuracy. Different safety and mag release location more suited to an american handgun. Only bad thing about it is sig stopped production to make their popular handguns when the pandemic occured.

It might have been a bit bigger, but we were in the middle of recording this one when the whole Ukraine thing started, so life got 'interesting' for both Rob and myself for a bit there. So did our best to get a video together amist other things happening.

Beautiful firearm, I loved it the first time I saw it, went online to see what they run...and here it is a year later, and I still don't have one lol
