When you said Clothes are meant to fit your body and not the other way around, I felt that. I’ve been struggling with my weight since the beginning of covid ( I gained 10kg) and I was still wearing my size 10-12 jeans. I finally bought size 14 jeans and omg I’m feeling so much better in my body and clothes. Keep on doing these ✨
theres so much shame attached to going up a clothing size. But with anything else its totally fine, clothes, condoms, coffee size. Glad your feeling better! xx
Yes I have experienced the same, haven't woren jeans in a good 9 months for I couldn't fit into my size 12 anymore.. just brought a pair of size 16 jeans and feel great again.
Size 16 jeans are actually more comfortable than the smaller sizes ever were 🤩
I literally brought and wore black leggings and long tops for years after I had kids, then one day i watched one of your try on hauls and decided to buy an outfit that was out of my comfort zone but what my inner self desperately wanted to wear and since then I’ve been wearing whatever the fuck I want when I want and loving my body that has created, grown, birthed and fed 3 humans. I've went up 2 dress sizes in the last year and am now a 14/16 and it's so refreshing to see someone say it like it is; buy the bigger size and don't feel bad!!! Thank you, now I'm off to make an ASOS order 😂💚
I use a wheelchair from time to time and it literally forced me to break my mindset around clothing sizes. I size up maybe twice to get jeans that are comfy enough to move in- fab. I love that people are really pushing the fact that clothes are meant to fit us and we don’t have to fit into them ❤️

I love that you finally said it! I went from a 12 to now sizes 16 fit me and I’ve been feeling so shit about it but not only have a gained a little bit of weight but sizes how gotten smaller. The size 12 jeans from primark that I got 3 years ago are now the same as a 16 today! Helen you are so beautiful and I love these videos so much 🥰 makes my day

I’ve never seen somebody rock a cowboy boot quite like you do 👢 not the polly pocket jeans 😂😂 Whenever I go thrifting I don’t even look at sizes nowadays! I just hold something up and think ah that’ll fit! It’s so damaging to the mental health and confidence when you get sad about clothing companies not being consistent! 💗

You’re so right. I use beat myself up when ever I sized up in clothes and now I just don’t give a damn anymore. Our bodies are all built different. Whether we control it with diet and exercise, not everyone is the same size 0 or 14.
