It's the biggest art challenge month of the year and this year, I'm taking part in peachtober! here's everything I created for the first week of prompts 🥰 we're using all kinds of different mediums and subjects, subscribe so you don't miss the rest of the month ❤
That’s absolutely okay! I barely was okay doing it this year haha 👀 they’re not easy at all, especially when you have other things to do 🥰 thanks for watching ❤️
I really love Peachtober and to see all the beautiful art from everyone! Your creations are so pretty and I really like that you use so many different art supplies 😊💗
Add some colour pencil over streaky markers will soften the lines and make the piece look perfect again. When the paper isn't made for markers, they will do that when you circle back to a spot that has already dried. If you can work left to right or top to bottom do that you don't have to circle back to a tried spot, it will also work out better. That is what I found though, but it is definitely harder with larger areas. The pencil trick really does help cover it up though and make it look beautiful :) Markers reactive, but for me, I find that in only happens on the marker paper and the other papers, just does the dark dry spots where you have gone over the area a couple of times.
ah okay that’s really interesting! I think this one was particularly difficult because it’s A4 paper and I’ve never used that big before 😮 still it was a lot of fun and a learning curve, I think you may see some improvement towards the end of the challenge, especially as I started to figure out the paper ❤️ thanks for watching 🥰
Just a lil tip when using alcohol markers when you are coloring big spaces try your hardest to always touch wet with wet to stop the patchy look that you was wandering about as long as its wet and put down together it will even itself into one shade it took me forever to learn that and it is a finiky medium i think some things i grasp easily and others im still learning as im going i love how the fawn picture turned out looks lovely and also looks as tho you had tons of fun and enjoyed it which is the best thing ever in art....sketch is awesome as well....i love how you used the pastels in different forms on the bud picture....you are very creative cant wait to see your next set!!!
Ah that’s cool, thanks for the tip! I think the biggest struggle is that it’s A4 so I just couldn’t keep up with it drying 😭 thank you! Nice to hear that you like them, there’s a lot more crazy different art coming up so I hope that you’ll like the rest 🥰
Thank you for being so relatable about alcohol markers😂 I cannot deal with them! I cannot figure them out. People make such cool smooth blended pieces of art and anything I ever made looked streaky and colors never really blended for me no matter how fast I worked. And the bleed through, dude. What is the point of them? I’d rather use water based makers, they blend, look great and don’t bleed! But I digress😂 your first prompt was so cool! What an awesome concept and I loved the fawn, well done! The lofi scene is so cute, 😍 love it!
EXACTLY WHATS THAT ABOUT 👏🏻 although I’ve never managed to make water based markers blend either so 👀😂 thank you!! I love the concept and may even redo it in future ❤️
loving all the pieces so far!! i really like that you're taking a mixed media approach. the art studio drawing is definitely one of my favs, such good vibes!! excited to see next week's pieces 🥰
