    Every time I think the same thing, "These are awesome". I know its a ton of work but you should look into getting some injection molds made once you feel you have finalized the design. I want to modify these to fit inside the IKEA Alex drawer system. Its been on my to-do list of organization for awhile now.

    • @ingentingbra
      @ingentingbra 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Probably not possible to do injection molded since the top is smaller diameter than the middle. Needs some redesign for injection molding. The concept is brilliant though.

    I love it! I would love to see a 3D printing focused video where you show what to watch out for when slicing (and maybe designing) parts. I bought the boxes myself and I have trouble with the overhangs e.G. the bottom chamfer and the underside of the label tab. A bit of advise would be greatly appreciated!
    Have a nice weekend and stay safe :)

    • @ijrocomufmg
      @ijrocomufmg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very pertinent comment. Even if it's not in the video, it could be in the instructions on the purchase page. When I simulated 45 degrees of overhang I thought it generated a lot of support. So I decided to test with 50 degrees and I think the result was very satisfactory. But I would like to know if Chappel managed without any support with some trick, or if he really used 45 degrees...

    Impressed as always with your work, you really make me want to get out there and build something. I would have a request I hope you consider, adding at least a partial bill of materials somewhere, either in the video or in each project file's page on your site. Beyond being generally useful, it would help a maker newbie like me figure out how buying a bunch of storage containers compares to printing them, ie what filament you used & what's the approximative weight of a couple sizes. The same goes for specialist components like those drawer slides, although I suspect they might be detailed in the STL files on your site.
    At any rate, keep up the quality content, looking forward to your next projects!
