Looks like you really did your research with these. Nice video and good info all around. Also very cool you were able to save 7lbs a tire by running that particular size!
Something important that I was hoping you would cover is positive/ zero/ negative wheel offset. This is extremely important when installing larger tires on a stock lift. It appears you have a positive offset which would be the most likely to have steering angle rub.
Happy to report with this combo there is zero rub anywhere. Now if I were to get into wider tires with this wheel offset setup I’m currently running g I would say a tire that is 12.5” wide or greater then you would definitely run the risk of rubbing on something.
Hey Kris, Thx for your information, do u have photos on it ? Want to know how it looks, coz I am going to get 20x9 +18 offset method wheel on my ram3500. Thx again
Hey I’m new to this so thx for the video but I have a 2022 Ram 1500. I want these tires but I want to stay with my stock truck and wheels. Original is a 275-55-20 what is biggest and widest tire without rubbing or mods.
Your welcome! Thanks for tuning in. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to answer that for a 1500 but I’m sure there is lots of info out there with people running various setups.
What can I clear up for ya? Also these aftermarket wheels have a 0 offset vs the factory wheels that came on the truck had a +25. The 0 offset makes the wheels/tires poke out of the wheel well a little over an inch roughly.
@@MadGreekOff-Road The RAM 2500/3500 Limited factory wheels have an offset in the 40s. Also, your aftermarket wheels don't look like they have a zero offset. Looks closer to +10 or +15. The attachment point is definitely not on the centerline of the wheel (0 offset). You sure about the offset number?
My Nittos are in the same load range E as the Firestone transforce tires that came with the truck. The Nittos have a maximum load of 3860LBS @ 80psi so really comparing apples to apples here just with a different brand.

I did my best and thanks! Yes the weight savings was a big deciding factor for me with choosing this specific size.

Looks like it might be a -18 offset not 100% sure
These wheels are a zero offset
I put 20x9 fuel contra's with a +20 offset and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35x12.5x20 tires on my ram 2500 with zero rub also.
Awesome!! Sounds like a sweet combo

How much did the new tires affect speedometer accuracy over stock?
Not by much according to my GPS Speedo. Maybe off by 1-2 mph max.
What off ser are the wheels? I see 2 options 12 and -18. I prefer wheel flush
These particular 20” wheels have a 0 offset. Wanted a little poke over stock but nothing crazy.
Have you had a problem with the wheels caps breaking at the mounting holes .
No issues with them as of yet for the past 2 years. They are holding up fine for now.
I may have missed it. What are the specs on the wheels. They look good
Thanks they are 20x9 0-offset Raceline Hostage wheels.
So are 20x9 or 20x10? I see you said both in the comments.
Can you please clear up the comments about your wheels vs factory wheels. Also what about back spacing.

The aftermarket wheels I have while they might not look like they have a 0 offset are indeed a 0 offset and are center line on the wheel.
What size rim and offset are you running?
20x9” with a 0 offset
Wondering if this set up would work on the Rebel with the air ride suspension?
What size wheel and backspace?
That I’m unsure of unfortunately. Wheels are 20x10 with 0 offset
I was told putting light duty truck on a ram 2500 wasn’t a good idea. How true is this, or what do you think?
What do you mean putting light duty truck on a ram 2500?
@@MadGreekOff-Road sorry, I meant light duty tires.

What offset did you do to stick out and how wide is the rim?
Wheels are 20x9 with a 0 offset and the tires are 285/65/R20
Thank you..didn't think they would stick out with a 0 offset.
Welcome. Yea I was going for a very minimal stick out and 0 offset gave me just what I was looking for.
Are they loud on the highway?
I cover that in the video. I wouldn’t say loud but there is a mild hum you do hear at about 60mph
What size of rim and tire are you running?
20x9 for the wheel and 285/65R20 for the tire
Tire is 285/65R20 which measures out to 34.8” high by 11.5” wide on a 20” wheel.
The wheels allowed that not the tires. 54mm offset made the difference
These wheels are a 0 offset
Yes, the difference between factory +54 offset and your 0 offset is 54mm of negative offset.
