Great video again! It's spectacular walking out over there in the summer! Your other more recent video where you go down to Aldbury and through the Nowers got me into walking this route a lot. I usually start at Steps Hill Carpark and make my way up to Ivinghoe Beacon, and then over to the Nowers, through Aldbury, and up into the Ashridge Estate to the monument, and then back up to Steps Hill Carpark. Recently I've been doing it in reverse as well.
Thanks Matt. The Ivinghoe video (from the car park) was one of my early videos, a beautiful walk. Aldbury has several routes in and around the wooded areas which make great walks in themselves. Thank you so much for watching my films, I hope you’ve enjoyed walking the same routes. There is another walking film in the making but as you might imagine with the current situation, things are taking longer than expected!
@@JWalking No problem! It's great watching your videos as they all give me the inspiration to go out and walk and discover more! Due to the current situation I have been walking a whole lot more over the last year, and there are a lot of very picturesque routes near me in Houghton Regis along with the Ridgeway/Icknield route which is so close by. I am actually planning on doing the full length of the Ridgeway within the next year or so as well. Glad to hear your putting together another video as well, and definitely looking forward to seeing it, wherever it may be! :-)
Land is privately owned but there are public rights of way across much of the British countryside.. Those sheep would be property of some farmer there.
a wonderful addition to the variety of 'walks videos' offered on youtube; it is always good to see a man at one with nature.
Thank you :-)

Lovely video! Thank you. I was there on Saturday, starting The Ridgeway. These images really bring it back to me :D
Thank you for watching ;-)
I used to ride up here every evening after school, in the 90s.
@slaaaaave Yea!! Tell me about it !!!!
That area with the sheep, is it not private, and those sheep are owned by someone? Or are they just random wild sheep?

You must do a lot of walking back to collect your camera as you go!
