Still love coming back and watching these videos...I've walked this route quite a few times now, and more recently have added Lilley and Ravensburgh Castle into my journey. I usually start from Hexton Road car park and do a circular of the whole lot, covering about 12 miles :-)
@queerfish79 Hi, thanks for viewing my video! Yes all the walks are filmed on my own, setting up the camera position each time. The walk ends up being 2 or 3 times as long and exhausting! Maps are digitised maps from online, I use Final Cut Studio to edit and animate graphics. Time consuming, but very enjoyable!
Excellent Video, I walked the Pegsdon and Barton Hills last week. Would recommend. I enjoyed your style of filmaking. For the Walking towards and away shots did you set up the camera on a mini tripod on floor level? How difficult is it to film the o/s map and put on your route details. I am planning to do films on all the National Trails over the next few years so any tips would help.
One of the best walks local
Excellent country side
Lovely valleys
Must do this walk ...
Love the editing. I'm going to do this walk today!

I use a small/medium JollyPod and a much larger tripod to get the various angles. OS mapping graphics were composited in FCPX & Motion.

When I next do a walk there, I shall! Thank you for watching.
