The Domain is back with another Halo Infinite Mega Construx video!
Halo has partnered with Mattel to produce Mega Bloks / Mega Construx toys for over 12 years. This has spanned the release of Halo Wars, Halo Reach and Halo 4-Infinite. With this they have produced hundreds of toys and thousands of pieces.
Halo Infinite was delayed from 2020 to 2021. In that time and after it has seen a multitude of issues and delays, but at the heart of this lies a true return to form and a gorgeous campaign. Halo Infinite Season 1 and 2 had a long extended life but Season 3 promised to return to the original aim of 3 month long seasons. With the return of Forge, Halo Infinite now seems to be in a largely completed form. Can the community come together and embrace the game franchise once again?

faction based blindbag series would be cool, tho it would be especially cool to have them running alongside eachother. like a "UNSC" blindbags next to a "Banished" blindbags both released at once. imagine a flood faction blind bag series

I'm really worried about distribution, the last 2 waves of Halo sets have barely been seen in stores & are pretty scarce across even in the U.S (at least where I'm located )
I know you can find halo mega at frys but they need to put more halo sets in stores
I would LOVE to buy Heroes straight from Mattel. Especially with the drama around 17 and that, as a college student, it's hard for me to go to targets and walmarts.

Bit off-topic, but I reckon the newer drop-pods might suit the Flood quite well. Just a couple of blobby, flesh-coloured shells containing a Flood figure, weapon, stand, and maybe some infection forms? Great army builder for the Flood fans out there.

I’m all for experimentation. A Covenant series, Banished series, UNSC series, Flood series, et cetera would be great.
I would pay good money for a boxed set of Series 16 and 17, seeing as how I haven't seen them anywhere out in the world.
I’m so frickin hyped for halo heroes 18, it’s probably the best series ever in my opinion. They are all so good!

Same here, I think its probably because they all have so much detail. Plus, they've redone the Chiefs backplate, so now it's like the females backplates.
I'd absolutely love to see distribution back to the UK I don't know if it will be like as it used to be but people how collect them like I do we want it better than it is now
I would love to buy these halo heroes from Mattel Creations but can we buy multiple at a time like the honor guard?
I want more banished figures in blind bags, like just make a banished troop themed blind bag pleaaaaase
Personally,i prefer enemies in the blind bags (Covenant,prometheans or banished),i think they are more interesting,and i always prefered the elite figures over the spartan figures xD
But,i like those spartans, they're not bad :D,but i hope that we get an enemies-only series next, to "balance" this new concept

PD : with this new "chance" of getting halo tv show sets/figures,i really hope that they make some other media halo figures too (like halo legends),i would absolutely love to see Fal Chavamee,the Halo Legends arbiter in a heroes series,it would be freaking cool
Fal would be so dope. I'm a sucker for samurai movies and I loved that episode. It would be so dope to get figures from the books and movies too. Owen from Fall of Reach, or marine Laske from Forward onto Dawn, maybe Alpha 9 in their Spartan armor.

While frustrating if buying entire cases of Heroes 16/17/18 and beyond on Mattel Creations is what makes sense on Mattel/MEGA’s end I’m fine with it. If they wanted to put cases of blind bags as well on there I wouldn’t complain either. Floodgate firefight along with the new Elephant should be on there first as well.
Whoever works in the sales department at MEGA needs to convince Walmart/Target to start carrying them again though.

there is actually 3 variations of these blind bags!!! the only difference being the pilot!
He has 3 different armor coatings each case has 3 different blind bag versions! i know from looking at an ebay seller who is selling these. (they are scalper prices $16 for one bag do not buy)

The blind bags haven't been super awful for me to get, I've mostly just had to check Target constantly to find the only box they'll stock and pick up one of each code.
Heroes however have been an entirely different story. Just because I'm in the South East US it's damn near impossible to find them anywhere in store.
The only chain that I've somewhat consistently found them is CVS and they're all either the Jackal Freebooter or Ramos and RARELY older figs. But you're still paying
almost $10 for one figure. Mattel really needs to open an online store and either restock it for an extended period of time or just preorder it months before it can release.

I am very willing to spend a large amount of money on Halo Mega but it’s so difficult to get anything new in the UK without ousting eBay and even then the selection is not the best. Shame cos I wanna be a full on collector but it feels almost impossible

I'm really excited for series 18 heroes. I'm very against the all Spartan blind packs. I love the variety every series has had over the years from all the factions across the franchise.
I hope we get Covenant/Banished for the next mystery pack, ngl I don't need more Spartans but definitely need more covenant/banished.
Also I would buy a case 100% the roster this time is great!
Being able to buy all mega construx products directly from the manufacturer would be a godsend

Heroes series 14 was available officially on amazon in bundles, I really hope they do they same thing again at the very least direct to consumer
distribution needs to get better. as a big fan from the UK, I love collecting this stuff, but i haven't seen Mega in stores since the first releases of the new articulation. that's YEARS. I understand, of course, that if stores don't want to stock them, there's nothing Mega can do, but that just means that Mattel Creations is a NEED for worldwide fans. it HAS to happen, Mega is owed by Mattel. It should be a given.
the only reason I was able to get my hands on the Banished Phantom was thanks to Mattel Creations. other than that, it would've had to have come from 3rd party, and probably at a stupidly unreasonable price.
having these up on an official site for the fans across the world (or at least in most major areas such as America, Europe, Asia) will earn them my money. I want these newer sets and figures. that's all they have to do, and I feel like I speak for a lot of people too.

I’m sad that Cortana blew up Doisac. Now unless 343 does a prequel we can’t go to Doisac like we did with Sangheilios in Halo 5.
I really hope they do a full enemy blind bag series, I personally prefer when the series are even or close to even with the factions like say, Universe series 1 or 2, but a FULL Banished or Covenant series would be amazing. I hope we also get Kai, she was the one legitimately good thing about that TV show.

To TheDomain I’m was kind of worried about this pack when blind bags are my only way of army building. I would have preferred we get at least a flood infected elite in the pack, but tbh the Spartans are cool. The halo tv show idea I disagree with since it doesn’t connect with canon and has inappropriate scenes in the show , and with you saying you think it would be cool to get the Spartans from the show in halo hero’s I’d prefer new actual canon characters like maybe a Virgil or the marine Mendez who trains the Spartans in the book : fall of reach. The eod helmet there is also from halo reach so it might not be from the show. Pls respond if you agree or disagree and sorry if any of this seems rude.

I love the honor guard and the spartan seven the most, I feel like the atriox is too silver, and that they should've had a little dark grey and some more black on the arms, it makes the figure blend, but that detailing is great. Great review!

Mattel should absolutely be a point of distribution for mega going forward, they can then see the demand for other regions outside of NA for the products and hopefully build upon that, I would absolutely buy a box or two of halo heroes or blind bags from Mattel

That's a very interesting concern. For big toy discussions and reveals I've always wanted high production value and this kind of style is what I feel confident producing and what I think has a good streamlined feel to it. If you don't mind, what exactly feels off about this?

I think having halo heroes series 16 and 17 on Mattel Creations is a good idea but having all of em in one case as one payment isn’t a good idea because we can’t army build without getting all the other figs as well but that’s just my opinion
I 100% believe that if we suggested this, it would be case or nothing. It’s all fair wanting to army build but that’s not how they produce HH. It’s on a production line so I think there’s relatively equal amounts of figures per case 🙏

Please do a commentary about distribution. Im not a collector on sets as I mostly buy LEGO but I love the figures and always try and buy mystery bags or other covenant bad guys. Im from the San Diego area and these past few months I have seen no mystery bags or heros. Maybe Im just unlucky but I go down south closer to the border at times to meet my girlfriend and stop at targets along the way to check and find nothing. I got to college in irvine and they straight up dont carry them anymore. Pls I need answers😭

I'd definitely love to see Mattel Creations have the ability to buy a full lineup of Halo Heroes. It's been very difficult for me to find heroes recently, and Mega/Mattel would sell a lot on their site if they sold a five pack with one of each figure in a series for $25-$30.
Also would be lucrative for them with people who would want duplicates of certain heroes but not others. Since in stores people would ignore certain figs (like seeing boxes full of Decimus and Locke lol), but buying from Mattel Creations means plenty of people would just spend the extra money and end up buying more figures than they normally would
