As a new golfer (started about April of this year) it is extremely refreshing seeing this technology and your breakdown of it. Looking forward to honing in my game and getting my hands on some good clubs!
So many videos have just been uploaded about the DS Adapt... but this Video. This is the BEST video on it, and I have watched all (well the biggest ones) the other youtubers' videos. Needs more views.
a brilliant review. poor from cobra not to optomise this review by offering a shaft and head loft that is ideal for you. great review to indicate the impact on shot shape.
Quite the opposite! Pro golfers hit the centre of the face, amateurs do not. With the twist of a wrench this will help amateurs hit the center of the face more often.
@@NewNineGolf I would have been happy with the one way miss you saw with the X on the A1 setting and just aim down the left side of the FW and maybe set to D6 to increase the loft.
The average golfer wont put the same swing on the ball every time though so getting that specific seems unnecessary, i imagine low handicaps like yourself will probably benefit the most
I’ll almost guarantee any golfer with an inconsistent swing will see improvements. Most golfers have a regular miss (left or right). This is about narrowing that margin.
How is this beneficial to an average golfer? Just to give each setting a number, can the average golfer with an inconsistent swing really find a significant difference between setting 23 to 24? Even with a professional fitting, as soon as they walk out the door, does it make a significant difference to the 2024 DS? I’m having a really hard time thinking “yes.” If Cobra thinks simply giving over-adjustability will make me want this, they’re wrong. Maybe for a club fitter this is the one. But the hosel is not backwards compatible. Completely new and expensive technology. Someone has to compare this to 2024 Darkspeed to see if it really makes a big enough difference to justify the price point. I think not. But then again, all the new offerings from major club manufacturers are too expensive. They’re making an expensive sport less affordable. Maybe in 3-5 years, I’ll give a used one a go.
Quite the opposite. If you need max forgiveness the MaxD or MaxK will help consistency, and if your miss is mostly right, you can change the setting to minimize that miss. This basic tech has been around for 15(ish) years, you just have a lot more options now.
Useless for the average golfer? No. Get fit? Absolutely. Us golfers are tinkerers. All drivers come with a wrench and we all won’t play the club on the neutral setting. If you can manipulate your ball flight with a couple wrench twists, what’s not to like?
club review at the new home sim!!! lets go!!!! love my Aerojet LS.... Might be time to upgrade!
telework testing!!! sweet for you man

Thanks pal! 🙏🏻
IMO Titleist surefit is still the best out there for shaft sleeve
Curious to see how the 2024 darkspeed holds up to the adapt
I'll try to do a comparison video if I can get my hands on both before they take back the old fit carts.

That's just too many adjustments that's crazy it doesn't need to be that many unless you're a professional golfer.

Amateurs are too inconsistent
You know amateurs, rather spend 5-7 hundo on a club than 2-3 hundo on a few lessons.
The lessons would benefit them so much more.
Great video! The shaft does make a huge difference, what shaft are you playing in your current gamer? Would love to see you try with that shaft.
Ventus Velocore Black 70g. Hopefully can get an adapter on it soon to try.

Do you think that much adjustability will be used by the average golfer? Seems like this would really only help a top tier player
No, this is absolutely useless for an average golfer, just get fitted .
1000000% it will be used by the average golfer. It’s easier to use than I thought. Who wouldn’t want to help their miss-hits?
