I really loved the people from India, I hope that we as Asians can actually unite and make the world a better place. This man is a genius, and we can discover more geniuses when we help each other and help each other to reach their potential in life.
It was such a tragedy that he died so young. He would have surpassed Newton, Euler and all the other western mathematicians. Even in the short time he was with us, he achieved so much.

There was no real mathematics in the West. As late as the 17th century the West was unaware of negative numbers. Mathematics chemistry and astronomy of India were translated into Arabic by the Arabic visitors to India who took them to the West which were then translated into European languages. India was the origin of all sciences and of course spirituality.
Ramanujam is I believe an alien who came to this earth to start something that mankind would take lifetime or even more to figure out the mystery of numbers
you are correct, there are many works which were made by Indians but credit was given to others( Europeans) like maths was firstly made in India , then the concept of atom, even chess was originally indian game
We have done nothing to commemorate him, we have built many Supercomputers atleast Should have named one Ramanujan or Some Research Institute in Name..That's why Talents Die in India

Agree
@Hypnotize He did answer the ancient question of how many partitions a positive integer has.
@Hypnotize You’re still right as well though, he might have decided to stop studying mathematics for all we know.

Very few indians know about him as bollywood will make biography on sanjay dutt but not on a genius
Is it not right, India needs to remember this great son and honour his memory.
That's why 22nd December is national mathematics day.
RIP dis guy, o7 times 1k for this guy
He is Indian. I'm not surprised. A country of many geniuses. Incredible India!
Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Ramanujan "The Man who have contributed infinity" salute to him🇮🇳🇮🇳
RIP dis guy, o7 times 1k for this guy
Now imagine all the other great minds in mathematics we did not discover because of bad life circumstances or being held back by the system
That is true for most in Asia, we have a lot of geniuses that is not discovered, because they are being neglected.
Why don't their countries create their own systems
Ramanujan himself lived in a precarious condition . No one even recognised what he was for want of Mathematical knowledge
A great genius. A salute for the extraordinary talented person. May his departed soul rest in peace in the Heaven.

Once Ramanujan ran away from E rode and reached Rajahmundry. And I am from Kakinada :)
Had he lived for long Indians would have done something worth telling the world ...

You have mentioned n at last which makes the series finite so it can't be infinite. Further, we have it's formula n(n+1)/2
