Ryuk is probably the most unique player atm in my opinion. u can make a point for merami for his raw speed or fgsky with his 4mod pp records but the insane amount of unmatched scores ryuk sets is just something different. btw i really like these ''history of osu'' vids and would love to see the history of hvick225... he´s easy one of the greatest of all time but u see not much on youtube about him. keep up the good work
I wouldn't say unique but the most rounded person right now. He can do HUGE speed and aim plays and even tech plays. His speed plays match other speed only plays scores and so are his aim plays
@@RieMUisthegoaT if u mean with most rounded best all around i have to disagree cuz vaxei and whitecat exist rn (i dont mean like raw skill and performance but in how much skill sets u exceed) the thing with ryuk is that hes not the best at raw speed or raw aim but hes probably in top 5 in both categorys. the unique part is that he combines those two skillsets so well like no other player atm (well u can make an argument for vaxei aswell cuz he has better aim and is a bit slower but u get the point) . which allows him to set hilarious and unmatchable scores. and thats why i enjoy his streams so much. hes obviously a great streamer and really entertaining but u never know which scores he got up his sleeves
Great video as per usual, but one slight note/correction, on the 981pp play, the pp counter actually hit 1099pp not just 1050pp, which is insane, and also kind of tragic he was that close to 1.1k pp.

It shows how mentality is really a part of this game. If you really have bad mentality, it won't get you anywhere with that mindset. It even applies to real life. As long as you're having fun with what you're doing, keep going on and on. No matter what comes in your way, just overcome it.

RyuK has always felt like a kind of rafis alter. what rafis is weaker in ryuk is very strong at and what rafis is strong in ryuk is weaker in. they both have very similar skill sets at their core but the difference is that rafis has/had near unmatched nomod aim and can play basically any pattern while ryuk is much better at raw speed and speed consistency.
The best part about this video is I was in a discord call with a couple friends watching the 1000pp stream and I was in chat when it happened The next thing I said was “I can’t wait to be in the ‘The Story of RyuK’ video in about a week” and here we are lmao
Not gonna lie, I didn't really like the way how you tell those stories, but after watching a few episodes and realizing how much time and effort you put in each video I started not simply liking them, but loving them. You're doing a great job, keep it up :)

I always thought being able to pass and FC higher star maps with mods was just something people with talent could do (I was a 3* map person) The fact that I can now consistently pass 5* maps and had a day where I consistently FC'd 4*s is giving a realization that I'm actually improving as a player Mods are a bit weird for me to comprehend still (I prefer to no mod stuff) Though my top play is a Yalta DTHD SS (Hard)
people don't even consider having learned the game until you can fc 6 stars nowadays (and there's still a lot of room for improvement), the 'talent barrier' is far, far higher than you think
