Going here on this video after my 8th failed quest with this firefox. I've tried so many strategy and even Velkhana HH skill evasion riff didn't help. I'm losing my sanity with this fight.
Too many turns, at the high level your Monster are this can be easily done (in solo) in less than 15 turns. I will suggest to add more crit, less attacks and more power ups.
How in the world did Capcom design a monster that is both INFURIATING and DISAPPOINTING at the same time puzzles me. Infuriating because Soulseer has ZERO mercy whatsoever in battle. A counter stance that lasts two turns and hits insanely hard? Check. Rage mode double attack? Is fine, until you realise his attacks always hit like a nuclear bomb, and even a fully geared endgame Rider can be sent carting on one hit alone. THE bullshit that is Blue Moon? You might as well just not wear armor. And Disappointing... because his genes are just shit for a supposed Deviant. Non-elemental Speed attack? We have so many of these out there. Fire trap? Who even uses traps? And his buff move is a joke as well. Why hate Mizutsune Capcom? Mizu did nothing wrong.
This is what bothered me soooo much! He hits so hard even with maxed out b.reaver astalos armor and a maxed out astalos and I still was being destroyed only to find his skills sucks!! Plus still no water moves that can actually crit. What did water monsters do in general to capcom???
@@cydashlee so i know this may sound a bit dumb, but what if you maybe put some fire skills on him or simply speed skills? I know it sounds stupid, but with his Foxflame gene and his ability to burn maybe giving him like Hellblade's Whip Gene or Piercing Claws or even Bazels Bombing Raid
so i figured out a decent set, its not water, but fire instead Fire Boost XL, Water Def Boost XL, Heroics XL, Burning Tail, Foxflame Trap, Spiral Claw, Valiant Flare and Bombing Raid
Not gonna lie, this update was an absolute disappointment. Oroshi Kirin is pretty good. Soulseer Mizutsune is "meh" (extremely tough in battle but with terrible genes) Elderfrost Gammoth is mediocre (basically a regular Gammoth, even when building it it deals no damage).

It sure helps to have a competent partner. The AI the game is pairing me with keeps failing the quest for me. Super frustrating!

Well,the monsters in stories 1 and 2 have much more health than the monsters in other games (except frontier and riders)

I lost every fight :( Level 64 sometimes the time is run out, sometimes i have no more Heart left :(
