Hey, I’m the creator of the RLS Career mod, I think you would enjoy the mod as it speeds up the career a bit and you don’t have to chop cars anymore lol. Today 7/11 at 7 I’m live streaming an overview and gameplay of the new update releasing this week. Stop by if you are interested and want to learn more about the mod. Great video and love the content!
Hey for the future your math is a little off the way you are doing it. To calculate actual profit you would need to input your balance BEFORE you purchase the car as the starting point. From there you can take note the cost of the car and subtract it from the base sale price of selling the car back. This number should be your profit off buying and selling immediately. You can then calculate part profit and by using a formula which I will format some cells and leave below. You can then add in the sale price of selling the chassis which which will give you the final profit by comparing balance before and after to find the difference. | BEFORE | AFTER | Cost Bank | Start Bal | Part Sale Bal | Car Price with tax Sell | Car Sell | Chassis Sell Total | Pre total | Parted Total Profit | Pre Profit | After Profit assuming start balance cell is B2 Pre Total Formula: (B2 - D2) + B3 Pre Profit Formula: B4 - B2 Part Sale Balance: This is just your balance after selling all the parts Chassis Sell: This is just the sale price of the chassis Parted Total Formula: C2 + C3 After Profit Formula: C4 - B2 This should give you accurate profit representations Further if you want to add a formula for how much you made from the parts: C2 - ( B2 - D2 ) Hope this helps! Love the content! Edit: If you want to show the difference between the two methods you would just want to do C5 - B5, That should show the difference in sell price in selling vs parting.
Is it just me or is cargo delivery just completely useless for making money while running a chop shop is also pretty bad but normal missions are insanely good?
It’s good once you level up a bit. I’m making $2-4k for pretty simple deliveries. My preferred method of making money though is definitely races or running from police with the RLS mod and selling my dashcam footage for a few grand
All of the vanilla jobs start off pretty grindy, and require leveling up or other specialization/investment to improve the reward payouts. Previous commenter already pointed out that deliveries pay decently once leveled up. Bigger value deliveries and reducing downtime are important. Like, don't continue running deliveries with a bunch of M and L sized cargo boxes. Buy the cheapest big vehicle you can (D-series, H-series, Lansdale minivan, etc) and add only XL cargo boxes. The long bed D-series pickup truck can fit two XL cargo, same as the extended H-series van. However, with something like $30k of parts to the H-series, you can upfit a flatbed or box that will hold 6 XL cargo. A 128-space delivery will fill one XL cargo. So this upfitted van can do 6 of these deliveries in one run, at $1k+ per run (some a little higher, some lower). That's $6k per run. You can choose whether you want to do lower value in-city runs around Belasco City, or higher value but farther runs to Speirs Island and the south side outside of town (quarry, starter garage, etc). $6k for a full cargo run is comparable to moderately high value car deliveries from Rich's dealership. I've only done something like 3 time trials and 3 AI races, and the repeat payouts weren't particularly high. Maybe if you're a fantastic racer and get 1st place or full stars for the fastest achievement time consistently? Either way, the non-race free roam missions are relatively risk-free aside from player recklessness during the delivery drive. You trade off consistent lower risk for lower profitability.
I just got beamng and started the campaign is this ui for removing the parts and selling them a mod or just the old version? I’m asking bc the current version I have of that ui is worse bc it takes more steps to sell stuff and I like this design more than mine
yeah its an older version of the game, i havent been on career mode in a while but if theyve changed the ui thatd suck because it was really easy to use
I have a truck and trailer I own both it a hopper and i can't figure out how to load it anywhere like the quarry to load sand or gravel I have installed every cargo box the the garage will allow me to and I need a dry bulk container I thought that's what I installed but it still won't let me load anything
I have an ad blocker but mainly for when I’m downloading mods to not accidentally click a big “download” button, also my school has the adblock plugin blocked for some odd reason
Unresponsive game, or unresponsive vehicle but game menus still work? If the latter... Not sure when the last game update to career mode was, but did you try installing heavy duty or super heavy duty shocks and springs on your van? I've had some vehicles bottom out and become undriveable when I load them up with too much cargo (like an H-series with 6 XL cargo, fully loaded with fluid or aggregate, but still on standard shocks and springs).
I don’t play career mode but trucks in this game are functionally useless, I wasn’t even using a trailer and the best config was rendered useless by a hill

Thank you! I'll look into this for the future.
Great mod, the championships easily doubles the amount of content in the career mode!!
@@fedegomez8914 thanks! We just update the mod the other day and added free roam missions so no more loading screens!
@@TRIZEGamesthe mod is awesome, very thankful to RlS for contributing to this game.
I never knew BeamNG have a actual career mode. I may buy it because of that

| BEFORE | AFTER | Cost
Bank | Start Bal | Part Sale Bal | Car Price with tax
Sell | Car Sell | Chassis Sell
Total | Pre total | Parted Total
Profit | Pre Profit | After Profit
assuming start balance cell is B2
Pre Total Formula: (B2 - D2) + B3
Pre Profit Formula: B4 - B2
Part Sale Balance: This is just your balance after selling all the parts
Chassis Sell: This is just the sale price of the chassis
Parted Total Formula: C2 + C3
After Profit Formula: C4 - B2
This should give you accurate profit representations
Further if you want to add a formula for how much you made from the parts: C2 - ( B2 - D2 )
Hope this helps! Love the content!
Edit: If you want to show the difference between the two methods you would just want to do C5 - B5, That should show the difference in sell price in selling vs parting.
We need more of these! Keep up the good work man ❤
Thanks! Will do!

Glad to see my European ass isn't the only one who routinely gets their dreams crushed by sales taxes
As a person living in Greece I agree

@@somecringeuwu3928 they did change it and it’s a bit clunky now
The new one seems to be easier
For your campaign series you should try making a Group Rally Series car for Ureno.
I have a truck and trailer I own both it a hopper and i can't figure out how to load it anywhere like the quarry to load sand or gravel I have installed every cargo box the the garage will allow me to and I need a dry bulk container I thought that's what I installed but it still won't let me load anything
You will have to install the agrigate boxes they can hold gravel and sand.

Wouldn't that be cool for real life work that way you can just get on a laptop and car parts just instantly disappear
more vids plz
Try rls carrer mode mod. It adds a lot of stuff to carreer mode.
Can you do something with it using a supercharger to haul heavy goods that is unbeatable heavier than usual
I watched like 10 ads to see the video because i refuse to remove my adblocker to get the skip button back :)

How TF did you watch ads if you have an ad blocker? That makes no sense.
I loaded up cargo boxes in a box van and my truck became unresponsive but the hauling mission was active
When you press the F key, does it exit the car? I think it was removed last night.
