The engine brake in this game isn't as strong as it should be imo

I agree! When it is set at 100% I shouldn't have to rev it to 2500 RPM for it to act like a Jake brake. The Jake brake simulation is way different than the one in American truck simulator. I hardly have to run the Transmission Retarder in ATS just the goof old Jake brake will handle the hills no problem!

@@joshm7230 Agreed, if real trucks had a jake break that weak they would not make it down those large hills
