Mid 50s isn’t dirt cheap…
It’s the new normal though
Nope
Ford f150 XLT is mid 60s tho
I think Ben's referring to other models of this RAM, but still, prices are outrageous these days 😢
RAM dealers in my area offering around 6k to 10K off from sticker price on most of their trims. That brings down the price way lower than other competitors.
Cheap is 36k
There isnt a single full size truck in america for less than 40k new
Frickwn boomers man. Their policies of printing money benefit tbe older asset holders and screw over the working class with price increases for everything.
I predict by end of the year the Auto industry will be in full panic mode 😂😂😂
@@TrailBossTatum I dropped off my Ranger a few weeks ago for an oil change and they asked me if I wanted to trade it for an F150 and I told them I'd happily take one of the F150s they're sending off to the landfill that won't sell. Got nothing but crickets.
Nice.. I'll take one. Oh, wait..it's not cheap, let alone 'dirt cheap'. I'll do $40k OTD..
What the heck are you smoking Ben? How is this "pretty reasonably priced". 60k for a mid-grade truck with no special options.
brings to mind a conversation i had yesterday, i worked for a roofing company in 2002, he bought a 2002 3500 cummins turbo, dually/laramie/ king cab, for 54k off the lot!
And if you going to finance this truck it goes up to 68k yeah dirty cheap right right right
61k- mid 50s is far from dirt cheap my guy W click bait tho 😂😂😂😂😂
I just bought mine with 41k for $25,000 of course it’s the 5.7 hemi and not the SST.
I can’t imagine the sst being that much more expensive. Am I wrong?
@@masonguy9534what year?
Can’t believe that an engine oil dipstick isn’t included for that price
What?!?! No dipstick on the motor?
I think it’s insane that they don’t put them on the transmission anymore.
Pass….Stellantis needs to reevaluate their pricing.
I agree
Every manufacturer needs to reevaluate their pricing.
@@jonathanb4929 true!
Cheaper equipped the same than a ford. Rwally
They need to re-evaluate their quality too.
I've been eyeing a truck purchase for a while but the prices are crazy. Add in the interest rates even for top tier credit and you have a $800.00 payment / 60 months / with money down on a mid 50k to 60k truck.
A Big Horn in this market should sell for 38-40k max. 50+ is ridiculous
Cheap is $35,500 with the Bed Liner Ben!!! Com-on-Man$$$$
There is no midsize truck with a crew cab for sale in america for 36k new much less a full size truck
Still don’t understand why bed liners are not a standard at this point
Nice truck. Decent price but still a bit high.
We have very different definitions of dirt cheap😂
Everything else a side - i will say I like that it doesn't have a stupid super ginormous touch screen in the middle of rhe dash. Analog gauges and lots of buttons and switches- that gets my attention.
I'd be concerned with that 6. If Toyota is dealing with issues, I can only imagine what's going to happen with that engine. Good luck to those who get one.
Two different motors..Ram is straight six😊
@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS i get that what I'm saying is if even Toyota is having issues with a new motor, what are the chances stellantis doesn't?
@@Johnny_Kanuk first of all Rams engines are straight sixes and been out for 2 years now and no issues 😁
@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS Yeah, like I said, I know that. Also, Toyota has had their engine out for 2 years also. I just noticed your name, so I'm gonna stop cause it's not worth the energy. Hopefully, it's all good, and nothing comes of it, and they have made the greatest Straight 6 of all time.
@@Johnny_Kanuk A bit of difference is that Toyota was using its engine on a car (not a truck) and was having problems with it. Now on the Tundra is making the problem mainstream. Stellantis at least had it on a truck (Jeep) before the Ram although I'm not sure if it has been reliable on the Jeep.
Sadly, mid 50’s is a decent price for a new truck at this level. I got my 24 Titan Sv 48k out the door with a bunch of dealer add ons and I thought that was a great price. In the world we’re in today.
Insane 1500 Ben !! ❤❤
Best review yet, thank you Ben. I like the analog gauges too, and the smaller screen with the physical knobs and switches. Would love it if you went into even more detail about the seat comfort and power seat and lumbar features. Also yes to the bedliner, it should be standard from the factory on all trucks. Just like paint and windows
“Somebody has jump in the water right” u first Ben grab you one let us know it’s just in the 50s……it’s not a gamble for You; u got it Man. Me I’ll wait for the next version 😃💯💪🏾💪🏾💯🖖
Thats a big truck with 6 ft 4 bed and crew cab but always a compromise. Titan SV can be bought for low to mid 50's, i hope that Hurricane isnt a FLOP like more than 1 Mopar engine. I have a 2023 Warlock with the 3.6 but driving a 2023 Frontier while my RAM is in the body shop. Get a BEDRUG installed, looks far better and the bottom is 3/4 padded, price is about 500.00, i have one in my Warlock with a THICK rubber mat over it
Those prices for that no bed liner 😮50s sumthing crap sounding truck 4:49 is as ridiculous as the those warehouses traded for farmland….shows they don’t care about those who pay the bills….😂 Thank you Ben Hardy for pointing this out💯💯💯💯🤔🧐
$20k is inexpensive $50k is VERY EXPENSIVE. Especially for a truck.
LOL, 20K was the price of a new truck in 1995
I wouldn’t call it “cheap” it’s just priced “less” than other trucks.
As a previous Dodge Turbo engine owner … never again.
Truck don’t look bad overall, but at that price it should be better optioned.
Nice review. 👍🏻
Not so sure about the turbo???
My question would be, does Ram no longer have the single cab version available? Not everyone really needs a 4-door version?
Ben, I know you sell dodges, but every time you get in one you realize how much better sorted the ram is than the Chevy or the Ford it's time to admit this
Sorry dirt cheap doesn’t exist in todays market Bennifer lol
I like this dashboard better than the Rebels dash..Not as busy to me❤
Ben I like your video's details well explained 5 years following you 👍
In 2019 I got a Laramie 4x4 v8 crew cab with a 6 foot bed for 46k out the door . The msrp was 53k, same truck now is 10k more.
no bedliner, no steps, no RAM boxes, local mileage worse than my 5.7l Hemi but better on the highway (24 vs 22). Did it have NAV?
got my '13 1500 big hornw/hemi back in ....'13 for about $43k after taxes. cheby's looked like ass and f*rds were $7k more w/similar equipment. 55miles on odometer. more than 230k miles layer i'd say i made the right choice
43k in 2013 is $57k in 2024 inflation adjusted.
By the election time Auto Industry will gearing up for a bailout guaranteed 😂😂😂
All these people saying this truck isnt cheap must not have seen the prices on full size trucks these days! Any full size truck with 4wd and a crew cab is at least 50k for a base model much less any options on it 😂😂😂
The problem is the other trucks are just overpriced more, that don’t make this ‘cheap’ it just makes it ‘less’.
Nah...
You can buy them used 2-3 years old, still under warranty for almost half price.
I got a 2021 bighorn 30k mile lease return. 2 years old when I bought it. Optioned up. 5.7 etorque, Premium stereo, 4x4 offroad, bed liner, towing packing, 3.92 gears, midnight package, few other things. The original MSRP was $59500. I paid $36k. That's $1k a month depreciation... ouch. Bet depreciation is worse now because the market is turning down.
Nice click bait Ben. 😂
For someone that owns 4 vehicles, you have gotten out of touch with the common consumer. Let us determine whether prices are dirt cheap or not!
Great Review! Any 2025 BackCountry’s on that lot ?
Because of this review, this is the RAM I’d buy
This truck in Canada is 80k, that isnt a typo 80 thousand dollars
My grandma had a 2016 big horn and a 2021 big horn
I like the way it’s equipped, especially the analog gauges. Is it available with the extra, not crew cab? Also I thought I saw 30 gallon fuel tank on the sticker. It was not clear. Can you confirm fuel tank capacity, please?
Thanks for the review! I see something similar in my area and it is advertised as a 6 seater truck. Where does that extra seat go to? Like in the front in between the driver and shotgun seats?
Are RAM trucks dependable?
Needs to be at least below 45,000
really nice looking truck i don't think its dirt cheap but i see your point with the prices of new trucks especially a b s tacoma can run in the mid 50 i would take the ram any day over that as always u do a great review i personally would try to find a left over v8 hemi because this is a newer engine so who knows if the flaws have to be worked out.
2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn Big Horn Lone Star Sport SST Crew Cab 4X4!
My 23 Silverado 4x4 LTZ pretty loaded up only stickered for $63k. Screw that Ram!
My grandma owned 2 big horns the difference is the horn is louder
???
@BenhardyCars Hey, Ben, can you find the New Warlock Tradesman?
They Told Ben to say that 😂😂 4:40 not bad at all 60s to 50s 😂😂 5:35😂😂 5:48. You right Ben about the farmland just like the prices on these vehicles they only thinking about their welfare not ours the people who pay the bills are screwed..
I’m about to buy my brother’s 18 Ram SLT QUAD-CAB HEMI 4x4 w/50k on it. Spotless inside and out! Why an 18…….BECAUSE THAT Hurri(cat)can’t puuurrrrr like a Lion 😂 Anyone wanting a V-8 truck better start grabbing them.
All that will be left shortly will be these pressurized aluminum lawn mower engine trucks!!!!!!
If you’re going to buy a Ram to do truck things, you want a straight six turbo engine, with 6.7L. That’s the true workhorse Ram.
Honestly trucks like this one should go for high 30k. It's a practically one level above tradesman. Unfortunately till people buying it nothing can be done. I saw young couple with 2 kids and income 100k a year having mortgage and getting new truck for 78k.
I think it the price is reasonable for what you get on this truck by today's standards. Ram has a quality truck, I'm on my third one now. Everyone begging for lower prices is going to be sorry when the manufacturers start going back to crap quailty to bring prices down.
Quality has already been going down, either way. The market will determine price adjustments as always.
When?
Good working truck love it
In 2013 I bought a big horn 4x4 for 31k out the door. What happened?
Inflation and a bunch of tech and safety equipment
It became 2024.
I remember looking at one in 2011 for $25k brand new
Does it have the power mirrors and adjustable pedal? My 23 night edition has that and the bigger digital center display.
The smaller Tacoma is mid 50s now
New twin turbo inline 6 cylinder first year model... I think I'll keep my Hemi.
No trailer brake?
It’s not badly priced if you make 130k a year.
Well, I keep my ram with the hemi. That truck is overpriced. Should be cheaper since they added a trim level. If I upgrade to a newer ram, it would have to come with the reliable pentastar V6 and not the inline 6.
A mid-$50s truck is considered "dirt cheap"....? This is why I got a used low mileage 2021 Tundra - that has a V8 engine that won't fail me like Stellantis engines most certainly will.
Mid-$50s is/was a NORMAL PRICE - and the jackwagons auto makers have been scamming people that last couple of years with $70k+ trucks?
guys it's not the price that is high, it's our money is worth jack shit!! the recent inflation was an attack on the middle classes wages!! so start demand higher wages!! especially skilled trades that are the biggest buyers of these work horses
Faster or slower than 5.7l hemi??
Quicker
@@BenHardyCarshow long you think this engine gonna last ?
Cheaper than dirt!!!😂
$60k MSRP? Yeah…that’s a no. If they can add rebates and discounts down to $55k, then the real price is $55k MSRP. So the price is inflated and not interested for people to buy.
I guess Ben has drank the koolaid by saying this truck is cheap.
Possibly the world's worst test drive. At least take it a round the block a couple of times and give it some juice. Maybe a couple of exits down the highway. Good grief!
Ford has made 360 cameras, adaptive cruise control, and even BlueCruise available on F150s in the XLT trim, which is available (with discounts) in the mid-$50s. Those features are missing from similarly priced RAMs.
You made this click-bait. Not a good trend man.
Because telbe engine is not anx8
Are you nuts at most that’s a 35-37 truck it’s practically bare bones
Good deal compared to a Tacoma at $55k.
Seems that as time goes on these you tubers are trying to make themselves more relevant in compromising the higher prices as the new norm 😮
Doesn’t have blinds spots for 50s to expensive
I prefer the titan pro4x. Its cheaper too.
I understand the towing need but most of these full size trucks I see never have anything in them and if they do a civic hatchback could do the job . Waste of space.
U can get 10k of sticker
I sent 2 emails regarding a new RAM. I got ZERO response. They don't care if they sell them or not. Fuck em, let the 23 ,24 and 25's sit and rot.
The bastards.
@@roberthenry9319 Maybe its a blessing in disguise
Ram has not chAnged that interior in 6 years😅😂
Nice ad
The engine will be great, the sound not so much!
Mid 50’s for a light weight aluminum pickup that sounds like a car. Bad review
Geez another full size truck with a v6. Sad.
Cheaper than the dirt beneath the White House that’s for sure. But dodge makes a nice driving truck…. They are underrated
I like how Ben keeps a straight face knowing this is a piece of crap
This is a joke right. Mid 50s for a Stellantis product is “Dirt Cheap”?! Didn’t even bother to finish watching. This guy must be getting paid to be a shill.
Might as well get a new 24 limited, just got mine for 54k
Dirt cheap this guy is definitely a delusional seller for this dealership
NO V8 NO THX
Walker Texas Ranger will be very disappointed
Clickbait is dirt cheap
Dirt cheap is 20ks 30ks
Haha fucking people crazy still paying these prices
Only if you want to buy a truck.
Ram is extremely ugly now… I’d take a tundra or Tacoma over this any day
Id rather buy actual dirt at that price.
Hard to drive dirt.
Dirt cheap, too. Who?
The build quality is traditionally dirt cheap for Ram, the msrp is no so cheap.
THIS IS CHEAP!!!
Nice click bait Ben. 😂
Cheap is 38k
