    Ahhh... The old days of B&W Photography, and DIY Image Development -> Circuit Board Fabrication! 😅
    One idea, add a Couple "Registration Marks" to the Design - Dead Copper, that is used to mark one Corner, as your Reference Corner, for all your Gerber Files, or Circuit plus Component Layout Reference.

    A similar but more sophisticated idea has already been used
    In order to charge the batteries for cars
    In the workshop I used a charger of its structure to be a power of 179 Amps
    I just have the play button press for playback
    And a power cutter
    Works on 220 volts when direct contact occurs between the poles after 3 seconds and cuts directly if a reverse battery is installed but does not interrupt while the engine is running
    Practically wonderful. I did not use to preach pieces with 2 LEDs
    But welcome any idea
    Just do not publish the wrong things
    I am from Algeria
    I always like to make things stronger, more effective and enduring
    Electronics is a very wide world
    Any idea may be the beginning of a project

    Good idea to make that automatic 12v battery charger at home, but a note: why force the red and green lights to take energy directly from the AC voltage? it is better to supply them with the DC 12V current by connecting the positive pin5 to the common relay pin 3, the red LED with a resistance of 1,
    5k or 2KR between pin1 NC and GND pin4, and the green LED with its resistance between pin2 NO and pin4, or use only one resistor connected between pin5 and pin3, with the red LED placed between pin1 and pin 4 and the green between pin 2 and pin 4.Also it is possible to use a single double LED whose red pin is connected to pin1, the green pin connected to the pin2 and their common directed to GND pin4 via one current limiting resistor, while not forgetting a connection between pin3 and pin5 of the relay.

      @@delanieacuesta4473 Hi, the charging voltage of an acid lead battery must be 20% more than the nominal voltage. For a 12 V battery the recommended charging voltage is 14.2 V. If you wish to use the 15 V transformer, it turns out suitable with its negligible difference of 0.6 V,
      however it is better to monitor the temperature to avoid a risk of overheating. The charging current is closely dependent on the storage capacity 'C' of the battery and must therefore have a value between 10 and 30% of C, so a battery of 7Ah will charge with a rate between 0.7A and 0.7 * 3 = 2.1A. As a proposal,
      if the capacity of your battery is 4Ah and you opt for a charging current of 30 per cent, the battery will charge from 1.2A, and to dissipate the surplus 3.8A, it is necessary to shunt the battery by a bulb 15V 60W. Otherwise, if the capacity is different you calculate the charge current according to the desired percentage and connect a load in parallel with the battery to absorb the excess current supplied by the transformer

    this circuit board is very nice. all charging Auto cut off circuits are cut secondary bolt but this circuit cut off the primary. save electricity.

      It's a clever circuit. A bit clunky but would work well, and once finished everything is turned off

    Exelente tuto rial pero puedo consultarte una pregunta ya hice el circuito pero a la hora de calibrarlo no me deja al votaje que nesecito quiere mas voltaje para hacer el corte y es arriva de 25v en este caso que tendria que cambiar para que pueda calibrarlo. Gracias

    porquè conectas la entrada de linea de CA a la placa de circuito impreso?
    no se supone que a la placa unicamente se aplica la salida reducida? es decir, los 12V ca?
    no me queda claro eso... :/

    Lead acid 14.7volt full charge not 16.5volt, deep cycle batteries full charge on 14.4volts, the sensor voltage should be right on the battery

    12 volt battery with 16 volt cut off voltage ? that's bad man. as a IDEA kit is good. but actually it will ruin the battery. This cut off voltage actually depends on battery type. But anyway 16 volt can't be cut off voltage for 12 volt battery. To keep the battery healthy it's not correct. Anyway, good idea.

    Nice proyect! Just one thing... The cutoff voltaje must be little lower... In my experiense any lead acid battery cant be charged over 15v or they can explode

    EAGLE CAD. I HAVE A TONS OF 12V EMERGENCY LIGHTS BOARDS ,THIS WAT I USED FOR CHARGING BATTERIES ,THEY ARE AUTOMATIC., I USED THE ONES FOR REMOTE HEADS AND 28 AH BATTERIES ,OR FOR 12V 7 AH I USED ALARM PANEL FOR CHARGING MY BATTERIES ,, MY FIRST CAD PROGRAM WAS A IVEX ,,,(DON'T EXIST ANY MORE), THEN I WENT W/ EAGLE,,COST ME $70O:00 BACK THEN; ( TOO EXPENSIVE ),THEN EXPRESS PCB ETC ,,ETC,ETC. TOO MANY UP THERE TO CHOOSE FROM,BUT I HAVE MY P.C.B'S MADE ON BOARD HOUSE.

    The scheme is not same as the lay out, look the red led point, base on the scheme, the red led will be always on while the battery fully charged.

    Different type of lead-acid batteries have different maximum voltages AND different float voltages. Go to batteryuniversity.com for more info on diffs between SLA, AGM, etc. lead-acid battery technologies. In addition, some AGM batteries are slightly different from other AGM types and manufacturers provide specific values.
    Charging voltages outside of specified values can quickly damage a battery, cause vastly premature failure, etc. Even a few tenths of a volt difference on a float charge can mean the difference between a battery lasting 3 years and the same battery lasting 6 years.

    The Reset switch is missing in the circuit diagram and also the connection from the 2 resistors of the LEDs. The idea is good.
