I used to worked at the GAF plant in Erie, PA that close down in 2007. Line 2, Singlemate, ply 4 and ply 6. Worked 7 days a week and made good money. I miss those days. 😔

In 1987, I worked at the ass end of the operation. Hand bombing the shingles onto pallets at CanRoof in Toronto. Me, a young Portugeese, and two drunk Newfoundlanders...

Don't like GAF. I prefer Owen's corning. But I still respect the hell out of those guys for working in a hot ass factory. I work on a hot/cold ass roof all year. And wouldn't have it any other way.

Too bad all those shingles I bought from you guys last week were packaged like shyt. 🤦🏼 Every other shingle with staggered, leaving corners exposed and damaging them while still in the packaging
