I was impressed with range of participants. Particularly appreciated observation by Prof. Jaisey Joseph of Villanova that the “Spirit has been pushing the church to the peripheries since the beginning.” (At minute 4:20) I found it odd that only the names of the women & their universities, but not their roles & titles were included.
I personally know the Boston College Jesuit who put this on. He told me he doesn’t accept the Nicene creed, but rushed to assure me he still accepts the Apostle’s creed. I hope you can forgive me for not feeling at ease.
Just to have it clear...🤔 From the whole presentation you have cut off ✂️only 1️⃣, incomplete sentence, you have made it representative to the whole and you have discarded it all❓ Well, that's a generalisation you can be proud of 😂😁😛
What a great video of a great event! I am so impressed with both the gathering and the video. I pray that the Holy Spirit inspire the attendees to spread the message and the spirit of the gathering to those around them. I hope more bishops would attend events like this and hope the gathering happens again next year and the next. It was good to see the several women who participated in the event. Videos like this are great and important; they give viewers like me who did not attend the event get an idea and feel for what happened at the event. Thank you, americamedia. The videographer did a great job.
B3cause every single person is important, poor or rich, bishop or philosopher, man or woman, young or old, please wear masks and clean the physical air too. Be examples of ecumenicql study and mitigation of risks.
How about a "Way Back" from the brink. Back to a time when abortion and contraception didn't sever the branch from the vine. Back to a time when marriage was a fruitful sacrament between, one man, one woman, and God. Back to a time when we had a Catholic medical system and a Catholic educational system to deliver both the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. I recently attended a mass at a local Shrine performed by our bishop. The mass was packed, and the average age was 75+. This parish is the combined remains of three other parishes that have been consolidated. This consolidation has been occurring since the 1960s. I thought how sad, that in 20 years all of this will be gone. The congregation was actually singing the hymns louder than the choir because singing is worship that can be led by the choir, but not outsourced to the choir. It was like smelling the beauty of a cut rose. I as a younger person was able to enjoy the beauty and fellowship of this Mass, full well knowing in 20 years most of these parishioners will be in heaven. The Shrine and grounds will be sold off because there will be no more parishioners, and we'll have another condo development or strip mall in what was a sacred place. Why is yet another congregation to be cut from the vine? Because of the promotion of contraception and abortion. The evil pharmaceutical industry continues to promote eugenics, as they did in Africa and Asia with the pushing of the Tetanus vaccine to sterilize. How quick the Church has been to crush the Latin mass, while the Vatican became the first country to mandate vaccinations of it's citizens. These vaccinations inflicted miscarriages on so many. Like standing by the fire, and hearing Peter deny Christ, I like Peter have nowhere else to turn than Christ. The Way Back is perhaps the path that Candace Ownes is currently following. The same path that Abby Johnson followed. A faith that promotes Hope as an essential leg in the three-legged stool, for sharing Hope is an essential act of worship. We have a world that needs RCIA, for the Church can not be conformed to meet the world where it is. We must invite the world two by two into the ark of the Church as Noah did. To the beauty and protection of the Church during the flood. The Church radiates Truth, through Faith, Hope, and Charity. Like Gideon, we may be asked to turn more and more away. The Gardener will continue to prune branch after branch and fertilize the roots until we have the army that Lord wants us to have. Else we are the fig tree, that produced no figs out of season. In every season the Church is called to produce great fruit. Like Peter himself, let us find the path back to Christ.
There is some truth in what a sincere person says. The Church, the people of God, continues to preserve much of its tradition and at the same time moves forward with and in the Spirit in the world in which it finds itself.
@@VicRomero5 What in the world does that mean in light of the deposit of faith??????? -- a deposit trampled on by the likes of Cupich, Tobin, Flores and so many other heterodox bishops!

@@chrismarc6966 the whole seems fairly summed up by that sentiment. You disagree?

Please for your own sake, study the science. A chain link fence, will not stop a mosquito.

Going back to Tradition paired with a return to the Latin Mass is the only way forward. God bless the SSPX!
