Like I said, its a good thing you were awake during Math class. I have just acquired a BAR in 280 Rem that should be chambered for 280 AI, have you got a reamer?? And it needs some fixing on the trap door. (sticky)
In order to re-chamber for the 280 AI, the barrel has to be set back a turn. This creates a problem with the location of the gas port. There is also some potential for feeding problems. Add it all up, and you have a job I wouldn't want to try.
@@WillHenrysWorkshop-gunsmith Thanks anyhow WH, just wanted to give you something to do, (HA HA) I will get hold of Western Gun Parts to locate what I need for the trap door fix. It actually gives me something to do and keep the BAR as a 280. Living the dream.
