(outdated) How to setup melonds multiplayer on android? (Please check description!)

Hello! Very sorry for the shitty mic! but eh, my laptop mic is broken, so i be leaving steps here. And notes, because i can never record a perfect video.
NOTE: Not all phones support Open in split screen view (9.32) and if yours doesn't, you won't be able to run mutiplayer on 1 phone.
NOTE 2: MelonDS is in beta, it can contain issues, bugs, and more. Be aware that Multiplayer (Wiimmfi) won't work as there is no support for that yet. I've tried, and i failed. HOWEVER, pc DID work.
NOTE 3: 10.19, another phone WON'T work using MelonDS. Sorry, i should really edit my videos.
7.16 has a recording mistake, sorry! (f*cking recorder. kys bandicam.)
Using 2 phones i couldnt get multiplayer working, it did show up but it refuses to connect.
1. Requirements
A 64 bit device
Apps needed: Parallel Space
Parallel Space 64 Bit Support
MelonDS
(Optional) Zarchivier (To unzip the archive or use any of your choise)

Download those, those are the biosses you need for MelonDS if you don't have it. (the DSI has DSIWare games included :) )
3. Unzip both archivies you downloaded and make a clone of them. One for melonds and one for the other melonDS.
4. Open parallel space and clone melonDS. Voila, you have 2 melonds apps!
5. Configure your bios on both apps, make sure to use the right one (Clone bios folder for clone melonds, bla bla)
6. Open clonemelonds and for DS and DSI change the consoles name, because the bios files have the same names.
7. Like 9.42, you should configure the controls to be splitted and shared. Settings - Input - Layouts. Make a new layout and move the controls and make it smaller.
8. Go to Settings - System - Custom BIOS and firmware - Enable Randomize MAC adress on both melonds.
You are FINISHED! Keep in mind that you might not be able to do any SHIT because melonDS keeps lagging off if i try to do multiplayer.

You can't use melonds to play locally with a real ds but they can play together over wifi. The hard part is actually finding a network that an original DS can use.
@@nathankellogg2640 you can configurate an phone hotspot ( disable security or put the security type to WAP )
@@nathankellogg2640 easy Configure the router to WPA and not WPA2. Or from AES to TKIP. It's just downgrading modern security to the most standard. Valid for psp too.

@@dio_drip8498 era pra ter no DS faz tempo, o DS tem ótimos jogos e ainda, já é um console ultrapassado, estranho a maioria dos emuladores terem suporte multiplayer, mas no DS não.

This was just a simple test. MelonDS on android with wifi is buggy af. Try a PC with melonDS 0.95, new update improved local wifi.

You don't really need a bios to run games, but it is a nice addition. As long you got the rom and a emulator you are good to go

Newer android versions tend to not let you choose the Downloads folder. Try moving your game in the root of your storage and create a folder for your roms
