      Thank you!! Honestly there are many ways to solve a sculpt, as long as you get to the result you want, that's what matters ☺️

    Looking clean! 🤩👌
    That camera lock on the cube is amazing. Accidental orientation was driving me crazy 😂

    Wow... I would never thought that...
    I've been trying to find a way to model something using nomad and I figured the tube tool could be useful, but I just don't know how to get it right.

    Great tutorial. Loved it. At 5.50 when you export to cozy blanket it that still necessary with the current version of Nomad or can the sword cut out from the plane be turned off not the sword blade with thin Nomad now ?

    Love your tutorials! What software are you using for recording the screen? It's really nice that it shows the taps on screen.

    At 9.00 etc why do you subdivide instead of just using vowel remesh ? What is the advantage I am not aware of ? Thanks.

    What exactly was done in clozy blanket? Why was it work on there then added back to nomad was it just to clean the plain up?

    • @SmallRobotStudio
      @SmallRobotStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      CozyBlanket was used to obtain an edge flow that allowed me to get the shape I needed in Nomad.

    Hello Erika! I am a 3d artist and my dream is to work in the game industry! Are there any tips for making a portfolio you can share? It would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

      My top three advice is:
      1. Show the technical behind the scenes of your models: topology, Uv's, texture maps... Show appealing models and that they are properly built
      2. Demonstrate the assets are game ready: Get your models working in Unity or Unreal engine, show that you are familiar in those environments
      3. Cater to the place you are applying for: Make/choose work that is compatible to the work the studio does; style range is good but it relevant to what they are looking for
      I hop this helps :)

    I find it hard to believe that there is no way to make a straight line? Like procreate, make a line and hold second finger to snap it straight or something. Or am I missing something?

    • @roofoofighter
      @roofoofighter 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I’d like a snap to grid function for the tube tool

    What does project tool do differently to trim?

    • @SmallRobotStudio
      @SmallRobotStudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Project pushes the existing mesh. Trim cuts and deletes part of the mesh. Check out my video about the tools, it's got visual explanations :)

    One thing I dont understand though. Is why retopo only to remesh is 5 times after anyway?

    • @SmallRobotStudio
      @SmallRobotStudio  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The retopo was not for optimization but merely to obtain an edge flow which allowed me to make the shape needed. I have not found another way to create the slope for the sharp edge :/

    • @g8610g
      @g8610g ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SmallRobotStudio ahh. Just for initial stage since it conforms shape after subdiv anyway, off course! 😁
      If Nomad would implement some rudementary low poly tools we could stay in Nomad for this I gues. Add/move loops, vertexes would allready be enough.
