My local thrift sore has 25 cent VHS tapes and I just buy them all even if they're lame movies since i'm trying to recreate a little mini blockbuster store lol.
People should keep in mind when flipping items you could sit on it for a year depending on the demand before it sells when wanting maximum profit. Great video as always

That's the thing, right? You've got the goods but if you & the buyers don't match, stuff'll sit. Gotta diversify. Have options in your listings.

I've had my Copy of Rose Red up on eBay for like a month for that price and hasn't sold! Think that market has gone bust.I've past 2 more copies up since the first one hasn't sold yet.😐

Omg I used to love the tiny toons game on sega when I was younger. I couldn't believe how much it went up. Picked it up few months back caught the store sleeping on price!!
A lot of good dvds out there , I've found a local version of gamestop in iowa , great titles at one dollar and they clean them 👌

I like how that game store puts shrink wrap over the game and puts the price label ON the shrink wrap instead of the cartridge like the majority of other game stores do.
Little shop of horrors is way better then you would expect. I don't like musicals but little shop of horrors is more like a movie with theatrical singing here and there.

@@retrorick Seriously. Rick Moranis is great in LSOH, not to mention Steve Martin, Bill Murray & John Candy. It is an essential 80's movie. Was actually surprised to hear you haven't seen it.
I haven't seen the remake with Rick Moranis but I have seen the original it's a fun little movie

Cool Spot is my all time favorite game! I remember playing it all day trying to beat it on SEGA and my little sisters would come in and make me let them play knowing if I didn’t I would get in trouble! Lol but it was such a fun game! I ended up buying it for Super Nintendo recently definitely bringing back a lot of memories!

Rick, there was a Boxed Vegas Stakes just sitting there right above the Home Alone 2 Game and it was $14.95. it would have kept you in the 50 buck budget. I know Vegas Stakes isn't a hot or even a good game, but i love it, for some reason it clicks with me.
You came up on some cool stuff Retro Rick, especially the SNES games, I got to travel out there in Arkansas
This is my town i shop at all these places I’ve found a lot of good stuff for dirt cheap and yeah a1 is trash it’s very well known as a rip off you should have looked at a place called the broom closet down the street from marvas

Little shop of horrors is a great movie also it has Rick Moranis. he is a god among men Leaving behind blockbuster movies after blockbuster movies to spend time with his kids after his wife died if anything you need to watch all Rick Moranis movies just to give him the love and respect.

Yup that’s how it is brotha deal with it I can’t even go to goodwill and get games anymore it’s all online auctions now and pretty much everybody knows prices on games now of days so don’t be too surprised if you go anywhere and prices are high even yard sales are high as well depending on where you go

Bus dude wasn’t looking to sell watered Battlefront or any of his other games.
People come to stores because they’re supposed to be cheaper than online lol. And if you do, say 80%, of price on pricecharting, just tell people up-front.

Have you ever thought of getting hot wheels some real value with Real Riders? By the way love this type of stuff I might start doing it myself, I use to pick books, vhs, dvds, video games myself when I had a Thrift store, also use to buy storage units for a long time there for a while. I was in it back when all the family videos in my area were closing down so got lots of value when that happen. Kinda wish I kept all the gamecube games though I had like 200 at once :(

I know a place that they sold me a scratch up copy of Star wars battlefront 2 for ps2 for $5. I knew it was a joke. But I took it anyways just to say "I got a copy of Battlefront 2".

Im all the way in Alaska or else I would come over. I do have a ton of Nintendo DS cases with instruction manuals but no games that would probably go to some of the cheaper stuff in your cabinet. If you paid shipping you could have them.

When is TH-cam going to get rid of all of these Telegram scammers? I keep reporting them and they keep popping up. Total waste of time. Retro Rick needs to block/ban them.

Keep reporting them. Maybe eventually if enough reports happen TH-cam will go after them. I'd hope that the content creators they are impersonating would be in touch with TH-cam as well.

Yeah when I walk in a place, doesn't matter how much cool stuff they have, if it's not already priced, and they have to look up and price everything, I'm out. I refuse to do business with people like that. A) it's lazy on their part. B ) it's also scammy and scummy. C) it's a huge waste of my time having to stand there and wait for you to price everything. Super tacky. Do it if you want, but I'll likely not buy from you, never come back, and warn everyone I know to not go there.

Also I feel like if you go into a physical store you're expecting a deal if their just gonna look everything up on the spot you're basically shopping on ebay plus gas plus your time. If they factor that in then cool but you know places that do this will just look at the highest price and charge that.
