I love this hashtag! Regarding your red cardigan, I think when you find the right red that suits your colouring it almost becomes a neutral. You can wear it with everything.
Great video Amelia. I actually haven’t made a single one of your picks, I must change that! I think I’ll copy you and make some kids pj sets this year with the patterns you recommended. 😊
I liked seeing your Nina Lee dress and the hack. I love my Nina Lee Bakerloo dress too. However, I cannot live without the Hazel Dress by Rosery Apparel . I think I have made 5 of them now.
Top, Remy Raglan by Sew House Seven; bottom, luna pants by Made by Rae (I have trousers, shorts, pjs out of these in all types of fabrics, this is my go to trouser pattern); one piece, Montana dress by Stylearc patterns; layering piece, no current favourite/essential but about to try the waterfall cardigan from Love Notions patterns; wild card, Hannah Tank from Pattern Scout. Thank you for your videos, I always enjoy them :)
Oh, those patterns are all gorgeous! I really want to make the Style Arc Montana or Hope dress soon. Thank you so much for watching, Sue. I am so glad you enjoy the videos!
Thanks for this, I shall definitely be looking at the tank and cardi pattern for me but you share the best childrens patterns. I have just made the t-shirt and shorts patterns at your recommendations, both for my 2 year old granddaughter and my 6 year old grand son. They have been a great success. I can just get a t shirt for 2 yr old out of an old t-shirt of mine, useful as she gets through so many clothes at nursery! I put a tiny frill on the bottom of the girls shorts to make them a bit more feminine. I shall be looking at the dress recommendations and I love the coat and may well make that for her for the winter! Thank you so much, I love your videos and always look forward to the next one.
Oh, thank you so much for sharing that with me - it is so lovely to hear of other people making these patterns too. I am glad they were such a hit with your grand children. Mine live in these shorts and t-shirts all summer long!
My essential is a sheath dress.... I am large busted and short so when I fit the top it defines my waist and skins my lower half while giving one color line
Love them all. The skirt in the bright, abstract print is sensational. Please don’t feel you have to answer, as I often leave comments on the content creators I admire to help with the algorithm. Cheers from the big down-under.🦘🇦🇺
all absolutely lovely! that last dress that you sewed out of an old men's shirt (I think) would be a star in a GBSB upcycle challenge.
Thank you so much, that is very kind of you!
Excellent video. I appreciate your including the children's patterns.
Thank you so much!
Great video, I think my favourite dress is the Closet Core Elodie dress xx
Wonderful suggestions. Classic and so wearable. Hope you get lots of lovely weather this summer 🎉

Thank you Natalie. It is such a fun hashtag, isn't it! I do agree about red being a neutral - it really does go with everything!
Ooh this tank is gorgeous plus the shelf bra? Yes please! I will check it out though I am quite busty... 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Thank you! I absolutely love the shelf bra on this top, it makes it really comfortable to wear.
I love the yellow tank. It looks so good on you 😊
Thank you so much Val!
As always, a stunning array of beautiful hand sewn garments. Your attention to detail is beyond measure.
Thank you so much Marion, that is very kind of you!
Great video Amelia. I actually haven’t made a single one of your picks, I must change that! I think I’ll copy you and make some kids pj sets this year with the patterns you recommended. 😊
Thank you Sarah, I am glad you liked my pics. The boys love their PJ sets. They are such great free patterns!
Such a lovely collection! I keep returning to the Winslow Cullots, and the Rosa dress by Rosery Apparel!
Thank you! The Winslow Culottes and the Rosa dress are both beautiful!
I liked seeing your Nina Lee dress and the hack. I love my Nina Lee Bakerloo dress too. However, I cannot live without the Hazel Dress by Rosery Apparel . I think I have made 5 of them now.
Oh, the Hazel dress is just lovely! I adore that one too.
Lovely choices. I so enjoy your videos. How did you embroider on the buttons?
Thank you so much! I found a tutorial online to embroider the buttons. I think I linked to it on my original video. It was so much fun to do!
Great, very good

Awww sweetie dress! 😍💕 Do you use a specific stitch for sewing knits or special thread? Thank you!
Thank you! I used to use a zig zag and regular thread as well as my overlocker. Now I use Maraflex thread too, especially for top stitching!
DIBY ABB Tee adult pattern is also great, I use to make merino basics
Thank you Michelle, that is so good to know! I think I might try it for some basic t-shirts as the kids version is so good!
My essential is a sheath dress.... I am large busted and short so when I fit the top it defines my waist and skins my lower half while giving one color line
That sounds perfect! I always think sheath dresses look so elegant!
how did you embroider flowers on the buttons? Beautiful!
I think I linked the tutorial I used in the description box. It was a lot of fun!
I might have missed it but what material did you use for your red crop top?
I used a sweater knit from Minerva but sadly they no longer sell it and I haven't found a good alternative yet!
Hi just watching an old video of you making Monika skirt pattern can I ask what company as googled n nothing came up
Please
Hi Caroline! I think it is the Manuka skirt, and the pattern company is Below the Kowhai. It is a great pattern!
Love them all. The skirt in the bright, abstract print is sensational. Please don’t feel you have to answer, as I often leave comments on the content creators I admire to help with the algorithm.

Thank you so much Kaye! ❤️
What fabric did you use for your lovely red Jennifer Lauren Juniper Cardigan, Amelia?
Thank you Ann. I used a sweater knit from Minerva, but they don't seem to sell it any more which is such a shame!
