Ken I just really wanna emphasize how much I appreciate your simple whittles I know you have talent for more details but you seem to love the basic whittles which I appreciate so much. Thanks again. Really dig your channel
Bear-y cool! Well explained tutorial, thanks! Really like how you continually show the final carving in the upper left corner, extremely helpful for beginner carvers and for those who whittle along!
Hello ken my friend I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy your whittling and you doing this one with a piece of 120 year old black walnut means a lot to me I tried doing the Abe Lincoln two more times but didn't go so well but perhaps I can do this bear thanks again for everything you do God bless
Hello my good buddy Mark. Thank you so much. I am having a blast with your knife and wood - I wish I could thank you more!!! Give the bear a try, it is really fun! 👍✌
Thanks Ken. Really appreciate the pocket knife. I would eventually like to do all my whittles with a pocket knife but still feel more comfortable with a standard carving knife but I'm getting there

Nice carving man! I should try something else than basswood one day 😅
Hi Jeff! Walnut not to hard to carve, but it can be a bit fragile!. 👍✌
Have you used teak I watch you from Thailand
I tried teak many years ago, but not recently. Thanks out to Thailand!!! 👍✌
How long is that piece of wood?
The entire piece is 6" long. The bear is about 2". 👍✌
Could you try that with a utility knife? No sharpening needed just change the blade.
It absolutely could be done with a utility knife. I will have to post another Stanley 199 video soon! Thanks. 👍✌
Thank you! 👍✌
