Dave was covered up with bald eagles but never once captured a little footage or even a snap shot of them. Ole Dave’s not out there for the outdoor experience he’s there for one thing and one thing only, the slimes. You do you Dave.
You need a bigger boat Dave. Fishing offshore like you do and in those big rivers it would be a lot safer and would take wind and boat traffic a lot better.

really tough fishery. It's a huge system and it's tidal. A friend of mine lives up there says a great spot may only be a great spot for a short tidal window before the fish clear out and salinity levels constantly push fish miles. I saw blue caught at the bridge at newport news one time
My fishing up in the river mouths was always better when the tide was incoming because the river fish moved around more. When the river was running way harder when the tide was low the fish seemed to hunker down and not move. This was up in Alaska with salmon.

I've learned something new there is a tide in a river
When the tide is really high the ocean fish go into the mouth of the river. That is when the fishing is the best.
There's not a tide in the river but the river level changes with the inflow and outflow of the tide.
