- Have you played Tunic yet? Give it a try if you can! Tunic definitely takes inspiration from #TheLegendOfZelda but it does its own thing as well! A tip that’s not a spoiler, the manual is a puzzle with clues to other puzzles. Overanalyze everything. Use the zoom feature.

The hold A thing is not really a "beginner tip," it's a pretty big spoiler. It's something you can figure out randomly on your own, but it's really supposed to be a big "aha moment" when you put together how to do it based on finding the clues in game. Telling someone about it before they play is doing them a disservice.
I did immediately going in blind.. cause I just followed Souls logic.
.... I mean if your looking up tip videos you should expect spoilers ...... honestly it's not them doing the disservice it's the person looking up the tutorial
Personaly that was moment when i was forced to brake blind because i already checked area with manual ( that what i was thinking). And i checked where is that page. I was flustered, but this is tradeoff in that design. Personally i will never require tech or item in place where player can miss it or dont know how useful it is. Secrets in others hand are great, even if i lack perception to finds all or memory to check it later.

Even when I got the manual page that had the praying, because I didn't have the left page and there was an arrow pointing from it, I thought this was something for later in the game that I won't use until I find that other page. I thought maybe I'd have to do a different input before holding down the A.
Because of this, I got stuck. I had many pages by that point and it wasn't clear what the path forward was; do I scour the many pages I have, or do I scour the large map with its many hidden areas?
The whole finding out you can pray is pretty stupid - you find a page explaining it at a place you have no clue you need to go to...that's not really good game design. I was wasting so much time trying to figure out what to do with the obelisks and had no clue about that ability. All of a sudden I could open that door I couldn't open before, with no hint why/when - had to look it up and was so annoyed to find out that to be the solution I should come up with myself. oO

I did know most already but the changing cloths is new thank you this game has tons of secrets.
The parry seems far too delayed to be useful in my opnion, the latter enemies do too much damage and attack too fast for it to be feasible to time a parry.
Aura's Gem makes parrying easier.
I only use parry to kill faries

you can parry just by tapping one and animation itself parries, it means you just need to learn timing.
just tap the shield once to parry. no need to double tap
Double tap RT to parry.
@@KyloPrime nope, also single tap. The detection window is just so short that double-tapping helps because you instinctively tap shorer I reckon

One of the tips is a major spoiler prefaced by saying it is a spoiler in the vid, not a minor one. And imho it shouldn't have been included as pointed out by others. The biggest tip to give really is to study the manual.
The tips given in the video are nice though. Didn't know about changing colors
About fire and rolling - if you are on fire and run into an enemy you can set it on fire too.

Wandered around for an hour before I finally walked into the broken teleport in ruined atoll. Lol. Thought I was missing something.
Near the endgame and didn't have a clue about the shield double tap to parry!

Beginner tips without spoilers but still spoil crucial information.
I found the change room and thought it was a puzzle like if you need to match sounds which play when you go from behind folding screens, or if you need to make some melody from those sounds. Only when I noticed the fox was another color, did I watch closely and _saw_. It was hilarious.

Hey hey these are all part of the manual! It's just not that easy to go through it! Once you master the rune's language - again you can do that through the completed manual - I'll be easier!
You are like one of ten people to actually put in time to learn the language.
I'm seriously considering dropping the game because of the language thing, i understand it's charm, but it is pretty annoying not understanding shit
@@yall_girl_eve you can manage even if you don't decipher the language! Just focus on the "visuals" (images, drawings, little arrows, tiny circles, etc.)!
Also an advice about exploration: push Tab (or whatever equivalent on a controller) often. Change of perspective helps to see hidden things and some obscure passages, though not all.

My Fox had shinny glitters falling on him when I changed clothes which never happened before. Does anyone know why he did that?
For parry8ng, you just press the button once.
And I just learned you can parry... :)
Only a couple issue I have with this game. The delay on the parry is too long making it very difficult to counter effectively, the button layout is counterintuitive to Zelda players and takes a long while to get used to, no way to mark points of interest on the map, stamina sucks (at least we have the option to turn it off).
Also, this game needs coop. Not because the game is bad but because coop would be awesome.
Couldn’t do this before breath of the wild. Granted 5 years old, but when did the first Zelda come out? Also, couldn’t swap buttons.
