I love that the devs gave "content creators" a "big head" by sending them exclusive game stuff in the mail.
Very true!!
FuryForged: "A nice pair of shades, and if you head to the dressing room-"
Me, still 100%ing the game: "THERE'S A DRESSING ROOM?"
I didn’t know that either it suprised me a lot
I just found it the day before while looking for all gold coins.
Ye I found it quiet early on
That really did catch a lot of us by surprise didn't it? But having little Foks in your own color choice is a nice touch.
I discovered it before the video but i notice there was a dressing room that changed nothing on your character. Now i know it's for the pair of shades lol
I love that when they fixed a balance issue, they also put in a code to un-fix it so that speedruns wouldn't be messed up. What developer even does that?
real ones

1:18 It is less important, but the code for the firebomb is actually:
left up right down right up right down right up right down left
I think you may have accidentally added an extra "right up" before the left
Thanks! 👍
thanks
i will never get tired of hearing fury saying endless direction sequences
You should make a furyforge YTP of that
ALSO!!! there is a code to hug a fox doll you didn’t mention.
Up left left down right down left up left left down right down left up right down left down right right up right down left down right right right right
Yeah, unfortunately that one was added after I made this video.
that's really cool, also, those sunglasses makes me remember of the glasses you get in Fez after watching the ending cinematic twice, they allowed you to go into first person and discover more secrets to be solved in the world which were hidden by the game's perspective, this might be useful to you in some way idk
Haven't played this, but the fact that the dev gave a code in a discord post is just so extra wonderful.
You should, EVEN if you end up searching up all the secrets, because it took an entire community to unravel this game. If you appreciate such effort to details, and enjoy scratching your head figuring out wtf you're supposed to do, you definitely should play Tunic.
There’s another code that I just can’t get over. In Tunic, it’s possible to input a code that allows you to pull out a Lure and hug it. It doesn’t do anything beyond just visual flair, but it’s still adorable. The jingle that plays during the animation is in Tuneic and says “best friend”.
So, where’s this code located? *On a hidden tag in the tunic of the real-life plushie.* It’s inside the neck hole, on the back left side. The Trunic on one side of the tag reads “For hugging”, and the code’s on the other side weaving around the Tunic logo. Even the MERCH has secrets!
Yes! It's too bad that I put this video out *right* before the plushy was released. I am working on an eventual video essay for Tunic and I plan to dedicate a chapter to how cool it is that there are secret codes in the merch.
Thanks for commenting that ^ and have a nice day.
I always found it easiest to read these codes visually, after the dots have been connected. I had so much fun inputting the things at lightning speed with my mechanical arrow keys. Also I love that method of applying a nerf to casual play but not to speedruns. It feels like the PvP only balance changes Elden Ring has been getting, but TUNIC's required a clever approach.
I like when devs make the most hidden Secrets also the most useless yet Fun, especialy because of the fact that we ARE in the internet age, and taking that to real life in a game where EVERYTHING can be a secret leading to a secret (as with the rather stylish glasses) is truly something i should have expected from the devs of tunic and certantly apreciate now.
PS: Full playthrough with both big Head and glasses (If possible) when?
Is there any other games that has included hints for secrets in so many different facets? The manual has always been a bread and butter place to find them (although not necessarily in this kind of format) but then there's seemingly inconspicuous patch notes and merchandise, and so on.. I know none other that has taken it this far.
Fez's got a lot of secrets hidden so, maybe
I already finished the game with 100% of the steam achivements, but I'm still watching all your videos because they are enterteining. Keep it up!
Dicey hiding a code in a patch note is WILD!!!
You know the game were made with as much love as possible when you find these little secrets. I absolutely adore the developers!
Its unfortunate but I believe big head mode was discovered before the pieces were properly given out... still what an incredible thing to have your hands on. I would have loved one of them had I only started doing youtube myself.
3:05 good lord
Tunic is seriously underrated, there is a code to pull out and hug a plushie! The code is here on TH-cam ^^
I love it only because it's cute
Yooo !!!
Thx Fury for introducing me to this amazing game been playing none stop for the past 5 hours,
I didn't think i would like but i did thanks to you and these amazing devs
👍
Enjoy!
@@FuryForged Dude I AM!
My god this game is insane!
I did all the golden path stuff. Found the Arg in the glyph tower and thought "yeah, that might be the limit of my intelligence but it's definitely the limit of my patience."
I thought that arg and translating the language where the "final" puzzles so I looked them up (no way I'm qualified to translate that). Now I'm hearing about secret entire extra worlds, second and third secret languages. A million different meta codes. . . This game was an insane labour of love on a level I've only seen from like two other games.
There's a code on the official plush that give an emote that make the hero hug the lure.
Yeah, I need to make another video (possibly update this one) with that one and another!
Heck yeah more TUNIC content !!!! I've heard of big head mode before but i didn't know it literally changes the size of the heads lol thats hilarious
Ohhhh I got this game recently, its so full of secrets and cryptic stuff its been fun, definitely recommend to adventure lovers.
You guys should try all the FEZ cheat codes just to see what happens
I finally, (almost) finished the game, now I can watch your vids
Hey man nice secrets. I was wondering if you knew about something strange I found. After gaining the dash ability I went to were the broken obelisk is (in the lower forest area) and I jumped into one of the pillars exactly north of the broken obelisk, and as I did the fox turned completely black (like a ninja). I don't know if this has any meaning but it's strange to say the least.
Ive been wondering about the box under “kate ludlow” in the credits…
I dont know the language in tunic but that box in the credits is suspect
There is the holy cross cheat in the main menu for a special save file in i don't know where. Weird hallway with golden path that loops.
Just saw the other video. So yeah seems to be something automatically there.
I wonder if the money has some sort of meaning.
@@Shadi8694 that save place is important for one of the final puzzles in the game.
Also if you work out how to escape the looping maze you'll get access to a lovely developer easter egg
Wow, hadn’t heard of all of these!
People may also know about the ability to hug a decoy.
It's actually wacky that this feature was only used to include mildly gamebreaking cheats, and not to like, actually expand your character's moveset at all
To be fair, it's the same mechanic that's used for what feels like the majority of the puzzles
How many people would find these codes without a TH-cam video.
Roughly 0% I would imagine
I was trying to swipe down on my toolbar and this notification popped up, I ended up being first 😭
Do any of these cheat codes stop you from getting achievements on the Xbox? I'm not bothered about the bombs but the shades and option of emergency health would be nice!
Nope, they do not!
Btw the pax shirt seems to only pop up for like a half second
Yeah, the video janked-up during rendering, grrr. There’s nothing I can do about it now.
Big head mode is the ultimate OG Cheat Code ❤🥰
Fire bomb code is wrong. Use right down left for final three inputs.
Well, i accidentally managed to put in the "big head" mode input, i wonder sometimes what are the chances for that.. Atleast know i know how to cancel it 😂
I'm doing more dmg w/o the fire sword equipped so am I missing something or is that a bug?
1:25 Any idea what the other 2 codes on page 52 do?
I’m pretty sure that it’s showing you how to input secret codes
It's kinda obvious but, anyone tried to use the Konami code?
I think one of the Fairy codes is the Konami code
I'm was too lazy... but has anyone tried to enter the codes backwards?
Wait, can you undo the glasses because I don’t want to reset my save
@FuryForged - Do these cheats also
work on the Switch port of the game?
They should work on all versions of the game.
How you get dash without being a Ghost?
In your home (the building northeast of the warp pad), you can sleep on the bed to toggle the world state change on and off at will. I think this only unlocks after you've gotten to all six hero's graves and escaped ghost form. This is actually required to solve one of the golden statue puzzles.
bring back the terraria series fury modded
It's easier to cheat in a game without English.
just started playing this game. about an hour later, my controller is gone. I always have a backup, so no worries there. anyway, I died like 10 times just trying to make my way to the hero’s grave. I will definitely be turning no fail mode on as dying every 30 seconds is very annoying. I hate soulslike games because I suck at dodging. I don’t want to dodge. I just want to attack.
man why does every secret in tunic have to be an insanely long series of button presses, couldnt they have had a short code to open a text box or something to simply type a code?
they ended up adding an accessibility feature that kind of fixes it
you can turn on a display that shows the directions
but they could do a bit better by giving the player an input grid with an undo and a visualizer
It's how codes use to be inputted in older games.
NOT FUNCTION!
I'm sorry... this is a lot of bs and it's annoying.
So theres a hug-able plushie one. If you buy the plushie it has an input code on it to hug a plushie in game. (I may have put it wrong, i’m just copying a pic i found. I tested it in game. The pic was correct)

Yeah, mhmm. That was added after I had already made this video, unfortunately (or whatever.) I'm going to be making a long video essay about Tunic, going into depth about literally everything about it, and I'll be sure to show that plushie code in that video.
NICE!
