The hardest part on overcoming depression, is every pain point is on point. You can't invalidate what you are feeling. I am experiencing it right now and I am doing my best to overcome this.

Recently in a terrible mood because my life is just not being easy on me, continuous failures, shames, bad decisions and past bad memories just keep haunting me, I am just feeling that I am a terrible good-for-nothing person. I feel that Linkin Park is the only band that I have listened to that actually understand my mood, my feelings, and actually telling my stories and insides. When I found this song, it just hit me so hard. I just hope that when I am gone, I will also leave at least something good for people to miss me, not all the numerous crimes against other people that I have committed. R.I.P Chester, you will always be a legend, and you will always be missed for saving so many people.

I've never been so sad about the death of someone I have never met. It's because like most fans of LP or Chester, we connected with his ability to sing with such emotion that you feel everything he is singing. His lyrics are extremely relatable and when you mix in raw emotion into the way it's sung then it's easy to connect with it. His pain is heard in every note he hits.

That didn't age well
2 Thursdays ago, especially last week, was the worst I’ve ever felt. That is when I began really listening to Linkin Park and relating to the lyrics. That 2 Thursday ago, all of a sudden I felt happy, and the emptiness in me went away. Ever since then, I’ve felt much better, and it’s like Chester touched my soul and said, “Everything will get better. Don’t give up, and remember to be kind to people. Care about them, you got this.”
I suffer from depression as did Chester (R.I.P), I can’t say I know how he felt. But all I can say is if you or anyone you know is suffering from depression or suicidal thoughts, there is help out there because I have been through the same thing. Recovery is possible. ❤

The best part about this band is that it never grows old... every song of LP is still so relevant that one can actually relate them to their deepest feelings which they generally tend to hide. The voice behind this song had actually suffered a lot before taking such a drastic step. Although, i am never in favour of such a step, but being a Chester fan and LP admirer, i wish that wherever he is, he is actually resting in peace. For almost a year after Chester's passing I couldn't listen to this song or one more light without breaking down. It's still hard though
I know you may never see this but 3 months after his passing I hadn't listened to one linkin park song since he passed and was at a subway and was having a rough time that week and this song popped on the radio ...was the first one I heard after his passing and I broke down in that subway crying scared the hell out of the employees because of it still to this day very hard to listen too without breaking down
