This air valve is a Bendix anti compound quick release valve . It may cause a service relay valve to leak out of the exhaust port . A spring brake chamber may cause the same leak .

About the push on hoses. The green one goes to the ABS valve, & the other runs in the frame to where? The foot pedal?
Will this valve going bad cause your air brake red and yellow buttons to keep popping out when you press them in? Mine keeps doing that and sounds like a lot of air is escaping through the buttons making it impossible to press the buttons and keep driving. I’m stuck! I literally have to force press them in, to keep driving.

Hi Mr Steve quick question please I just pulled over at truck stop got some fuel then I usually walk around check my truck like doing PTI and I was bobtail actually and I Mentioned my 2 rear air bags only was deflated alloway down I recently change one of them then I started the engine checked the air tank gage was showing over 125 Psi which was good no bopping noice then checked the air bags still the rear 2 drive air bags was down then I wait a lit bit with engine running do inflat the air bags but unfortunately nothing then I moved forward pulled over parked checked up it got back to normal but still confused and looking for tip help please what could be a problem? You would need to make sure that the truck is on a level surface before starting to check the truck
1. Check the air bags for leaks if you don’t hear it use soap and water and spray at the bottom of the base. If no leaks go to the next step
2. Check the lines going to the air bag to the air leveling valve. Check for any kinks or damage on the lines. Check for any air leaks too on the lines. If the lines are good . Next step
3. Pull the line off the airbag that is inflating correctly and then pull off the one that is not deflating correctly. If you don’t have proper airflow equally the leveling valve will be bad.

What are the symptoms of a bad quick release valve? Evertime i hook my semi to a trailer the brakes on the trailers get stuck or slowly disengage i changed the foot pedal valve and the tractor protection valve and it still does the same thing im going to try this next

Why does the quick release valve has airline coming from the relay valve ? When it only functions to release the brakes and not works as the service brakes
Anti compounding. If you apply service brakes when the emergency brake is applied, this also send air into the emergency chanmber, which will release the brakes while the service brake is applied. This keeps the pushrods from over extending and damaging the camshaft and brake shoes.
Atleast guide what happens when QRV is not working.
