Whoever can sing along, it's ok but if one understands the underlying meaning of this song, it's not easy that a singer but Koreans dares to perform like this officially. "Dok" means alone and "Do" does an island, please listen to her pronunciation carefully in the song. Therefore the song title "Arirang alone" is, in fact, mis-named. "Dok-Do Arirang" or "lone(solitary) Arirang" is better in English I suppose. The original Korean song was invented very boring but she made it her own again only to be enjoyed mainly by Korean people again.
