I remember watching Akompi at a small village near Nsawam,called Pokrom live with their Big monkey 🐒 who dances to their songs this was in the early 1970s

Akompi was also a concert party. Their songs were popular alongside those of Kwabena Onyina, E.K. Nyame, Broadway, Ramblers, and Ambassadors.
Listening to these evergreen masterpieces from our predecessors, one would wonder, "what happened to our music and tunes?".
