    Thats my backyard! I ride on those trails all the time. The little hut is awesome. Glad you enjoyed it!

    You deserve a way bigger following than you've got! I love these videos, and as an American it's totally rad to see parts of Australia that I usually wouldn't!

      I know right. I just need bulk subscribers and Suzuki to sponsor me, then I’ll be set. 👍

    Good stuff mate👍👍. 95 percent of my rides are solo. Love it. No waiting for others. Ride at your own pace. Stop and explore anywhere YOU feel like. And no one snoring at camp sites 🤣

      Haha yeah I know, it makes life easy with planning or in this case no planning. Just ride and go anywhere you want.

    Bloody ripper ride mate 👍. Great little adventure & nice reward with that secret hut !!! Always enjoy your videos....I also take videos but don't really do the edit with public viewing in mind....I might need to change a few from unlisted to public 😉. It's a great way to keep a diary of adventures 👍. Good on ya 👌

      Yep I’ll believe that. There was one clip that had an error (not viewable) but if the deep bit was 1m longer my bike would have been drowned. Luckily momentum got me through.

    There was a vast expanse of land in NW sydney that is now suburbia, that not too long ago was fenced off due to unexploded ordinance.

  • @TRAVERSE_ADV

    Nice video! That big boulder crossing drinks bikes regularly so I've heard. I live up the road and been stinging to run some of those trails. Were the gates open on that stretch on the plateau? I heard they have been open and I've heard they are closed aswell. Gate hop or good timing?

    • @The_Apprentice_Adventurer
      @The_Apprentice_Adventurer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah awesome area to ride mate. I have more business down that way for sure. Good timing for me indeed. No dramas. Definitely hit and miss with the gates though.

    • @The_Apprentice_Adventurer

      Not sure mate. I was just asked to not share the location. I guess the people who use it don’t want bulk people showing up.

    • @spara7464
      @spara7464 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is true. The more people that head down this way and abuse it, the more national parks put fences up everywhere… unfortunately it’s the select bunch of morons that ruin it for the rest of us. BTW our town water comes from Porters Creek dam.
      Love your vid mate, new subscriber here 🤟🏼

    Hey mate, apologies in advance if you have been asked this recently. What gearing do you use for your Drz400 and do you feel it balances off-road and highway riding well? What speed can you sit at comfortably on the highway? Thanks.

    • @The_Apprentice_Adventurer
      @The_Apprentice_Adventurer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mate I change between 15-47 and 15-44. This ride I had 15-47 which I think is the best all round combo. I’ll hold 110km all day if need be but generally like it at 100km. If I’m doing big big kilometres on outback roads I’ll run 15-44 which then I can hold 120km all day but like it at 110km. Hope that helps.

  • @Jasper-ju8lt
    @Jasper-ju8lt ปีที่แล้ว

    What gearing are you running?

    • @The_Apprentice_Adventurer
      @The_Apprentice_Adventurer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For this ride I had a 15-47. Pretty good for 100km per hour or under.

    • @Jasper-ju8lt
      @Jasper-ju8lt ปีที่แล้ว

      @@The_Apprentice_Adventurer I've seen you use 15-44 in some other videos. Whats 15-44 like for the tighter/slower single trail? I'm tryna find a do it all gearing if that's possible. Something that can cruise at 110kms all day but still do the slower stuff as well. Including a few hill climbs.

    • @The_Apprentice_Adventurer
      @The_Apprentice_Adventurer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Jasper-ju8lt mate I hate 15-44 in the tight stuff. I think 15-47 will be the best compromise unless carrying heaps of weight then you’ll need the 15-44 to get the bike going at higher speeds.
