When Lincoln Riley left the University of Oklahoma to coach USC Williams left as well and followed his coach. That was the best thing my school (OSU) could have happen.
College players can't declare for the draft till after their junior season but some stay their senior season to try to boost their stats and performance in college so they're more likely to be drafted with a higher draft pick. The majority of great players like Caleb declare for the draft after their junior season to get a head start in the NFL. This was Caleb's sophomore season and is very likely to declare for the draft in 2024.
we're only 3 games into this season, but look out for USC's Zachariah Branch. He's been nutty up to this point and hes only a freshman. He'll have another season or 2 to play before he declares for the NFL
You get 5yrs of college eligibility. Must be 3yrs in college before you can declare for the NFL draft. 1 Freshman 2 Red shirt freshman 3 Sophomore 4 Jr 5 Senior Not everyone redshirts . It's an extra development yr or used if injured ..
That fake run is called a read option so the qb reads the defense while the does the hand off. Depending on what’s better he’ll let the ball go hand it off to the RB or keep it in his hands and run himself.
You should see Caleb Williams this year! USC IS 3-0 so far. I've watched all of every game this year and he's even more amazing this year than last (watched all those, too. We're a USC family.) If he can stay uninjured, he's definitely the Heisman Trophy winner again and No. 1 in the draft.
Man, I can't help but chuckle every time I see a new QB coming out of college, being hailed as the next superstar. It's like a never-ending cycle! Take this USC-Rice game that starts the highlights for example. Of course, he should shine against a team like Rice! But those highlight reels always feature these easy matchups. Truth is, most college players won't make it to the NFL, let alone become stars. With thousands of players in college football every year, only a tiny fraction get drafted, and maybe just 1 or 2 out of 10,000 will truly make it big in the NFL, and on a great year, we get 5 stars. So yeah, QBs get the most hype, but let's not get carried away every time a new one shows up. The odds are stacked against them. He will get drafted and odds say he will be on the bench or out of football in a couple seasons.
Draft eligibility is different for every sport. For the NFL, you have to be 3 years out of high school which usually means that juniors or redshirt sophomores are generally eligible to be drafted (redshirt is just a term for a player who went to college and practiced with the team but didn't play in games for a year to gain experience while younger or because of an injury; not sure where it came from but that's what we say). NBA, you have to be one year out of high school. NHL, you have to be at least 18 years old but younger than 20 (unless you're coming from overseas). As with many things, MLB is the most complicated (I had to Google this one because I knew it was weird..."Players who have graduated high school but not attended college are eligible for the draft, as are those who have completed at least one year of junior college. Players attending four-year colleges are eligible to be drafted upon completing their junior year or turning 21 years old." Williams is going into his 3rd year this year so he'll be draft eligible after this season. He went to Oklahoma in 2021 but transferred to USC after his head coach, Lincoln Riley, took the USC head coaching job. USC had their best year in a while last year, in no small part because of Williams. They were primed to take the 4th and final spot in the playoffs, even after their first lost in that game at Utah, if they won out and won the Pac-12 Championship Game but lost to Utah again in said championship game giving them their second loss and opening the door for one-loss Ohio State to get in.
Thank you for the comment. Have noted Marvin Harrison as lots of mentions for him in these comments! Might do a Discord Poll for all the 2023 players mentioned here, but Harrison definitely looks to be the favourite. To be fair, he sounds great too!

You have most assuredly gained a new subscriber/follower. Here are a few suggestions for your upcoming videos(apologies for only giving the names and not links to a particular video): I promise...PROMISE you will not be disappointed. ...NFL: Bob Sanders...he was a 5'7" safety for the Indianapolis Colts...one of the absolute hardest hitting tacklers of all time. Darren Sprolles: 5'7 running back. Ed Reed...probably the greatest safety of all time. Also...you must watch a video chronicling the 2000 Baltimore Ravens Championship team and the absolute historic run they had. They had the best defense in NFL history. Calvin Johnson: Nicknamed "Megatron" Dante Hall: Nicknamed "The Human Joystick" Chris Carter: the Godfather of the one handed catch. Top five all-time WR. Chris Johnson: the fastest RB in NFL history & arguably the fastest player in NFL history. MLB: Andruw Jones, Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson, Greg Maddux, Barry Bonds. NBA: Shaquille O'Neal, Derrick Rose, Vince Carter, & Zach Lavine. ALSO...you must watch the 2016 NBA slam dunk contest between Aaron Gordon & Zach Lavine.
Thank you so much, we really appreciate the support 🙏 Thanks for the suggestions, these are great! A couple of these already recorded and will be out to the channel in the following weeks. Appreciate the comment
USC is being resurrected from the dead with the hiring of hot shot coach Lincoln Riley last yr .. Got to watch a young Lincoln live when he was the youngest OC in the game at ECU .. He runs the Air Raid system. Same system Patty Mahomes ran at Tex tech. Maybe why they look simular .?.
A lot of comments are screaming Marvin Harrison Jr. (Ohio State, WR), and although I don't disagree, I think Brock Bowers (Georgia, TE) is a player you 100% need to check out as well - one of the best tight end prospects we've ever seen. A few other names include Kool-Aid McKinstry (Alabama, CB), Harold Perkins Jr. (LSU, LB), Drake Maye (UNC, QB), Quinshon Judkins (Ole Miss, RB), Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State, WR), Travis Hunter (Colorado, CB/WR) and the Michigan RB duo of Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards - these are all players that I genuinely think you should consider throwing on the list (and yes, I know there is a lot).
I think the rule for collegiate players entering the NFL draft is that they must be 3 years removed from graduating high school. Also, his teammate Jordan Addison, #3, was the Minnesota Vikings' first round pick... aaaand he just got in trouble for reckless driving (140 mph!). If he has any faults, he might be a couple inches shorter than most scouts would prefer, and there is some comparison to Josh Allen as much as Patrick Mahomes with the slightest of concerns that his playing style could result in more turnovers and potential injuries at the NFL level. As good of an offense that USC had, their defense was not very good, they fell to Utah twice (including the Pac-12 Championship which basically cooked their playoff chances), and struggled with the likes of UCLA, Stanford, and Oregon State.
His talent wouldn't translate to a conference where every week he played a talented defense. It's why he transferred to USC when Riley got the head coaching job.
Williams looks like the real deal, for sure. He’s got the poise and the physical tools. I think a small knock on him (in my mind) is that he plays at USC. The PAC-12 just doesn’t have the same level of competition in football that some of the other major conferences do. There’s also not been a great track record in the past few decades of PAC-12 QBs having long successful careers in the NFL, but hopefully he can be the one to break the trend.
Thank you for the comment Ian. Have noted Marvin Harrison as lots of mentions for him in these comments! Might do a Discord Poll for all the 2023 players mentioned here, but Harrison definitely looks to be the favourite. To be fair, he sounds great too!
Before watching this video I would have said that his only weakness was that at times he was making the Highlight play instead of the Routine play but after watching the first 5 mins of this video I can say that I was wrong 😮
Y’all gotta react to Justin Fields, very exciting young player who’s getting ALL the hype in the media right now. Guarantee some of his highlights will leave your jaw dropped lol.
Hey, thanks for this. We have completed a reaction of Justin Field’s 2022 Season Highlights. Unfortunately the NFL blocked 🚫 the reaction and we cannot upload to TH-cam. We have added it to our Patreon where there’s a ton of content we’re unable to put on TH-cam.
It is a bit hard to tell from the angles you get. I would like to see the camera behind him on these plays to see how well he anticipates to throw to a receiver who is not open but will be--throwing to a place, height, spot over the middle when he expects a receiver to "uncover" (as they say) and be open at the spot. Can he decide wisely and throw before the receiver is open and knows the ball is coming. Also, is he scrambling because he did not pull the trigger on a pass play that he should have--his ability to make quick, correct decisions (much needed in the NFL)--and to throw to narrow windows. For some of these plays they are beautiful passes but no exaggeration I could make the throw since the receiver is so open. A receiver is only that open in the NFL if there is a blown coverage, a defender falls down, or a rare time when the receiver can get that open. So again, would like to see a different angle, behind the QB--see what he sees and when he sees it.
You guys have probably figured it out by now but the reason that teams do a play fake (handoff to a RB) is that for a split second it keeps the LB's from getting into their pass drops. With the LB's closer to the line of scrimmage there is an open area behind them. QB's are always drafted at a premium, last year QB's went 1, 2, 4. Another player to watch is Ohio State's Marvin Harrison.
Go Trojans - Fight On thanks for the this vid guys. Utah is a conference rival and we played them in the regular season and in the conference championship which we lost both games 🤬🤬🤬
You guys should watch out for Blake Corum easily the best RB in the country. He was a Heisman contender last year up until his injury in the 2nd to last game of the regular season. WR position its Marvin Harrison whose the best in CFB by a wide margin. Tons of great QBs this year but Caleb Williams is the class of the field. TE the best player in the country is Brock Bowers from UGA, however Colston Loveland from Michigan is someone to keep an eye on as a true sophomore.
Thank you for the comment James. Have noted Marvin Harrison as lots of mentions for him in these comments! Might do a Discord Poll for all the 2023 players mentioned here, but Harrison definitely looks to be the favourite. To be fair, he sounds great too!
@@cgn1k lol explain how I don’t? He doesn’t have Mahomes arm strength, he doesn’t have Mahomes size, he can’t throw off platform like Mahomes, and he’s faster then Mahomes, literally the only thing they have in common is the improv skills when a play breaks down and basic QB pocket skills. A young Russell Wilson had great improv skills, was more athletic, and had a great accurate deep ball which is all the things Caleb does well. Caleb might be slightly more athletic and he’s taller. Wilson is a far better comparison then Mahomes.
The coach of USC, Lincoln Riley is a great college coach and is turning the USC program around. He left Oklahoma to take the USC job. Caleb was the QB at Oklahoma and he transferred to USC after Lincoln Riley left. So Oklahoma lost arguably the best QB in the nation when they also lost a top tier coach.

his weaknesses are holding the ball too long at times and he needs to improve his anticipation instead of waiting til WRs get wide open. Rarely in the NFL will his WRs have as much separation so he needs to get better at anticipating where they will be.
If you want to get into some details on how really good he is on the field, the QB School has a few nice breakdowns: ND game: th-cam.com/video/HWiZMyZEQkQ/w-d-xo.html and Utah: th-cam.com/video/BTU1E4J6QRU/w-d-xo.html
Some of these highlights are against some really bad PAC12 teams (known for having bad defense). He's probably still the best QB in the country, but the spin move runs and whatnot probably won't translate to the NFL. He's fun to watch tho

Marvin Harrison jr next. His dad is in the HOF he should be a top 10 pick next draft

Bryce Young college highlights would be fun, he plays very similarly to Mahomes. other guys to check out to prepare for the season: Drake Maye (the other top QB prospect in the class), Marvin Harrison Jr. (son of Colts legend WR Marvin Harrison and the best WR in the country), Xavier Worthy (Texas WR)
Drake maye is also a top qb from UNC he will be either the number 1 or 2 pick in the draft
Brock Bowers has been the best TE in college football the last 2 seasons you should definitely check his highlights out
Michigan's running game, Blake Corum and Donavan Edwards
When Lincoln Riley left the University of Oklahoma to coach USC Williams left as well and followed his coach. That was the best thing my school (OSU) could have happen.
Brilliant Williams
Let not forget his receiver core has HANDS
The second Utah game is from the pac 12 championship
College players can't declare for the draft till after their junior season but some stay their senior season to try to boost their stats and performance in college so they're more likely to be drafted with a higher draft pick. The majority of great players like Caleb declare for the draft after their junior season to get a head start in the NFL. This was Caleb's sophomore season and is very likely to declare for the draft in 2024.
Y’all gotta do KJ Jefferson from Arkansas. Caleb Williams is a Thoroughbred, KJ is a Clydesdale.
Please do Blake coum, Marvin Harrison jr.and Jordan Addison
we're only 3 games into this season, but look out for USC's Zachariah Branch. He's been nutty up to this point and hes only a freshman. He'll have another season or 2 to play before he declares for the NFL
You get 5yrs of college eligibility.
Must be 3yrs in college before you can declare for the NFL draft.
1 Freshman
2 Red shirt freshman
3 Sophomore
4 Jr
5 Senior
Not everyone redshirts .
Tank for Caleb
watching this while burning cilantro
Players attending four-year colleges are eligible to be drafted upon completing their junior year or turning 21 years old."
Williams is going into his 3rd year this year so he'll be draft eligible after this season.
Marvin Harrison Ohio State WR

18:06 unfortunately at the end of the run he pulled his hamstring
Blake Corum and Donovan Edward's both rbs at U of M
Jordan Addison from this video went in the firsst round to the Vikings and just got arrested for driving 140mph in a 55mph zone lmao
...greetings & salutations brethren. I just stumbled upon your channel on the TH-cam about a week ago. Since then I've watched about 25 of your videos.
Calvin Johnson: Nicknamed "Megatron"
Dante Hall: Nicknamed "The Human Joystick"
Chris Carter: the Godfather of the one handed catch.
Lincoln Riley also played (5th QB) at Tex tech before becoming a coach .
I’m no Texas fan but Quinn Ewers is my dark horse to steal the #1 draft pick from Caleb Williams. Dudes arm is electric
When do you think the Tyreek hill vid will be coming
On the Mahomes comparison, USC just hired Kliff Kingsbury (Mahomes college coach) as an offensive assistant
You should take a look at Georgia Tight End Brock Bowers. He will be the next Gronk in the NFL. The best Tight End in college football
Only problem he has is he hasn't won a big game yet.
Yeah he’s obviously really talented, but a lot of these highlights are from games against…lesser competition lol
His talent wouldn't translate to a conference where every week he played a talented defense. It's why he transferred to USC when Riley got the head coaching job.
a lot of that has to do with a poor USC defense but his abilities are definitely amplified by being in the PAC-12. still has undeniable talent
Won’t happen with the usc defense still easily the best qb in college since Trevor Lawrence tho
Texas. UCLA. Notre Dame
Please do a Aaron judge 2021-22 recap. Had a season we haven’t seen in 50+ years
Yes you're right you have to play/be on a college team at least 3 years to get drafted
need to do marvin harrison jr , generational wr prospect from ohio state
Thank you for the comment Ian. Have noted Marvin Harrison as lots of mentions for him in these comments! Might do a Discord Poll for all the 2023 players mentioned here, but Harrison definitely looks to be the favourite. To be fair, he sounds great too!
notre dame is playing navy in dublin ireland aug 26th 2023 . college football .
Before watching this video I would have said that his only weakness was that at times he was making the Highlight play instead of the Routine play but after watching the first 5 mins of this video I can say that I was wrong 😮
That #2 on USC with the really nice catch at the end is Jerry’s rices son!
Thank you for this info, didn’t know this. Appreciate it 🤝
Never watched the guy, but off the rip the speed he throws the ball faster than most I've seen.
Thanks Sam, definitely looks promising. Thank you for the comment 🤝
That our new QB1:) BEAR DOWN 🐻
It is a bit hard to tell from the angles you get.
You HAVE to watch Marvin Harrison Jr’s highlights. Ohio State WR. Easily the best player in the nation.
Thank you for the comment James. Have noted Marvin Harrison as lots of mentions for him in these comments! Might do a Discord Poll for all the 2023 players mentioned here, but Harrison definitely looks to be the favourite. To be fair, he sounds great too!
You have to play 3 years for college football. Caleb is a junior so he is eligible for the draft this coming season
It’s pretty common for him to draw Mahomes comparisons. That’s why everybody is so hyped about him
He’s no Mahomes, he’s more of a younger Russell Wilson.
@@cjboyer4355 ydkb
@@cgn1k English?
@@cjboyer4355 you don't know ball
@@cgn1k lol explain how I don’t? He doesn’t have Mahomes arm strength, he doesn’t have Mahomes size, he can’t throw off platform like Mahomes, and he’s faster then Mahomes, literally the only thing they have in common is the improv skills when a play breaks down and basic QB pocket skills.
A young Russell Wilson had great improv skills, was more athletic, and had a great accurate deep ball which is all the things Caleb does well. Caleb might be slightly more athletic and he’s taller. Wilson is a far better comparison then Mahomes.
He got hurt in that second Utah game. USC had holes and depth issues. They should be better next season
As far as receivers, look at Marvin Harrison Jr. On defense, look at Harold Perkins.
Thank you for the comment. Have noted Marvin Harrison as lots of mentions for him in these comments! Might do a Discord Poll for all the 2023 players mentioned here, but Harrison definitely looks to be the favourite. To be fair, he sounds great too! Noted Perkins too, love a good defensive player!
Quentin Johnston, gotta check him out
his weaknesses are holding the ball too long at times and he needs to improve his anticipation instead of waiting til WRs get wide open.
OPERATED! 🤣
The mahomes comparison isn’t far off his pocket movement reminds me of mahomes a lot
For defense Harold Perkins linebacker from LSU
Some of these highlights are against some really bad PAC12 teams (known for having bad defense). He's probably still the best QB in the country, but the spin move runs and whatnot probably won't translate to the NFL. He's fun to watch tho
It think you guys should check out Marvin Harrison NFL highlights then Marvin Harrison Jr Ohio State highlights......
Thank you for the comment. Have noted Marvin Harrison Jr as lots of mentions for him in these comments! Might do a Discord Poll for all the 2023 players mentioned here, but Harrison definitely looks to be the favourite. To be fair, he sounds great too! Friday is College day for us, have made a note of Sr for our NFL schedule though too.
Do Najee Harris final season at alabama 20-21 season. An absolute freak show!
