I was there at the Pinecrest Country Club. Maybe 600 of us, as he was largely unknown in the States then. The moment the band came onstage they got a standing ovation before they even played a note. Best concert I ever attended.

I saw Bob Marley And The Wailers Played live at the Crystal Palace Park Bowl June7th 1980.I when with my brother phill and his mate Ian very good gig and a great day out. The lineup was Bob Marley And The Wailers. The Average White Band. Joe Jackson band. And the Q tips with Paul Young. The Tickets were £7.50 Each On The Door. Me and my brother and Ian were on the left side of the stage where a lake is in front of the stage. I Remember Concorde came over Crystal Palace Park When Bob Marley and the wailers came on at the Beginning of the Gig. 15.000 People Turned up to see the wailers. Nice One One Love Peace ☮CND UK 🇬🇧.
