- Educational film showing how the loss of homes and lives by fire may be prevented with a bit of thought beforehand. Stars Donald Duck and his nephews and an introduction by Walt Disney. Released in May 1966.
I'm semi-surprised this wasn't included on The Chronological Donald 4 set, nor the Chip n Dale solo shorts. Great print!
@@TheToonkeeper for sure! Perfect place for it!
I remember seeing this both on TV and in school during fire prevention week
i always liked Donald Duck cartoons Thank You.🦆📺🦆
@@rogertemple7193 there is a more modern version that has real actors play the nephews. One of whom is Mark-Paul Gosselaar!
DONALD DUCK QUACKS FOREVER 😺👍!
Greetings from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
I love to have a copy of this short film on DVD or Blu-ray
This video along with the Dick Van Dyke Stop Drop and Roll videos have thankfully stuck with me my whole life. It makes me wonder if any of the young are taught the same lessons or is it all mind numbing Tic Tok for them.
Now this is a spectacular program.
Will America (and the world) ever have a leader like Walt again?
Not even the hallucinations wear pants in the Duck household... ;-)
It's only under all the feathers is he naked so it doesn't count. You could even say he is "down" with the fashion.
@@TheRadioAteMyTV Porky Pig goes full "Ken" over at Warner Bros. ;-)
Oh so good! Thank you so much. Perfection. Old school EAP emergency action plan. Perfect thing to play during a zoom call safety moment so Gen Z can see something real!

I loved it😃
what a sweet video! Thanks for the upload!
Some like it hot.
It really hurts my heart to see old footage of Walt when I see the state that the Walt Disney company is in today.
@@spinlok3943 it’s an easy fix to just focus on Walt era content…problem solved!!
They simply aren't the same. His legend is secure, the company is completely lost. Time waits for no man and all men must perish. As long as he is remembered he will live and be cherished, just like the Founding Fathers, he too set up America for thriving and national identity.
A hurt heart can be had from the reality that there is no one now who has broken through with the same ideals and optimism. The at each other's throat crowd is in charge right now. The glorious "here's who we are and what we can be" person of optimism is not finding their way to the top of the din.
😡💢💢Yeah, it makes me sad and FURIOUS at the same time! But it's NOT gonna be that way anymore! We're gonna change Disney for the better! The Walt Disney company is NOT completely lost! CAN and WILL be recovered! My team and I are gonna recover the Walt Disney company and restore everything back to the way Walt envisioned it, from the movies to the parks!
Yeah, I know it sounds ludicrous, but this ISN'T a joke, so don't treat it as such! I VOW that I won't stop until everything at Disney has gone back to the way it was before! This is my sincere promise I intend to keep!
@@TheRadioAteMyTV I'd like to be as lost as the Walt Disney Company today -- the biggest and most successful entertainment company in the world
@@shettrick "Be careful what you wish for" is a long standing expression for good reason.
The nephews sound like how they do in "Scrooge McDuck and Money", as well as "The Ranger's Guide To Nature", an episode of "The Wonderful World of Color".
Oh interesting -- I was about to comment that I never heard nephews sounding like this -- with normal non-duck voices, a couple of which sound like young boys and one of which sounds like a young lady's voice. Interesting to know they had these voices in a couple other programs, thanks
This is great
This was a fun one to discover!!
It’s ashamed that He died later in the year?
Thanks! Never saw this program that I see was shown on The Disney Channel at 11:40 a.m. Sept. 1, 1983, less than five months after the launch of the network. Disappointing and kinda pathetic to see that Disney revised this and re-released it in 1984 without Walt's intro (voiceover instead, saying many of same things), with live actors instead of animated characters for most of it (only 4-mins of animation remains) - Dave Bodin as Uncle Don; Randy Josselyn as Huey; Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Dewey; Josh Miller as Louie; voice of Hal Smith as Common Sense): th-cam.com/video/x8Psl5gaYB4/w-d-xo.html
