TL;DW: 1. Don't burn yourself out grinding activity for Seeker's path. Even though it is technically 'uncapped', unfortunately grinders will never get too far ahead and it's always easy for those behind to catch up just like for paragon levels 2. If you care about getting most activity for time spent then run Raids and Bounties every week till capped on both. Challenge dungeons are best after that but only if you have a fast group with average clear of 4 minutes or less. If your clear time is longer than that then stick to standard dungeons or any activity that you like Happy Holidays Everyone! 🎉
I have 20K voidblood slag. I thought maybe they would add more helliquary levels, but nope. 😒😒😒 It's pretty safe to say we are at post-endgame at this point. I, too, am at 1670 cr, and there's zero point to do anything in this game anymore for your CR. There is essentially no CR gain from the tableau. It is insane that they give us nearly nothing for hours spent in the game. I now just do my bp, cap my dailies/weeklies, and then do something else in another toon or another game. Basically, the way I see it is Blizzard has made it clear to me repeatedly that they don't want us to play this game. They have taken diminishing returns to the extreme point of no returns, just like xp. If you think 5% is still acceptable, then you are much easier to please than me. I think 10% is even too little. Anyway, since I don't pc game, I play other developer's cell games. Frankly, after how poorly Blizz has treated their DI player base, I'd never play another Blizzard game again. I agree with Indez that DI needs a competitor to force them to stop being such dicks to their player base. I've said it 1000 times before, BLIZZARD HATES GRINDERS - ironic for developers who have bent over backwards to make an excessively grindy game. But this is the reality. My other big complaint with this update is the pet re-vamp, which did nothing to simplify pets whatsoever. All it did was make them 100% reliant upon poor RNG, and they are still as bad, if not worse, in that regard than the charm system. I have no patience and do not enjoy layers upon layers of RNG. Since they very obviously silently nerfed contract drops, and now with only being able to sell abherrant pets that require 3 pets for conversion and low probabilities/layers of RNG, it sucks. We asked to simplify pets, but they did the precise opposite. NEARLY NOBODY UNDERSTANDS THIS FAMILIAR SYSTEM. Conversion is basically for whales to piss thru hundreds of pets, but for 99% of the player base, it's simply not practical and remains far too complicated. Again, especially since they nerfed contract drops. I might see 1 contract drop per week, if that. The enchanting is a step in the right direction, but why not let us re-roll Attributes? I think that answer is because there are only 4, and simply put, that's not enough RNG for Blizz. They wouldnt be able to frustrate the fuck out of us. I'm still waiting on adding a socket or changing ring socket color. Instead, yet another set, which makes dungeon drops that much more diluted. Simply put, I've given up on sets, and pretty much just use whatever. There is too much to do in this game now to focus on running hours of dungeons daily to finally miraculously get the drop you actually want. Finally, yeah. After 965 days, they gave us a daily gem tracker. TRULY A MIRACLE!!!! But it's extremely hard to use. As your gems proc, that list moves all around, making it near impossible to select on the gem tracker no less read it. I've found the only way to do that is to run a dungeon and look while staying at the portal after entering and before my gems start proccing. It's fuckingly near impossible to use in T rifts which, of course, is precisely where I want to use it. The 3 day carry over is quite nice. Last Sunday was the first day I have not done daily gem farm since the first week of the game. As getting together T rift parties after that update now sucks a HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME AND ENERGY, that is a sweet blessed relief! Oh and they really need to FIX THE VANGUARD UI. Good lord, they turned a 20-minute task into an hour and a half long ordeal. Way to go, Blizz. I detest doing Vanguard now, as a result. Gah, what a mess. I am happy that we were not forced to do the new storyline immediately. Can do it whenever. That was a win. I personally feel that DI at endgame has finally been refined to the point where it should have been at release. They used us all as beta testers. 😮😮😮
So people got used to be able to kill all current inferno level bosses the moment they hit 400, 500, 600 etc and could be way ahead of those who are behind. Now the system enforces people to not be as far behind. My main has 25 percent conversion rate and my alt has 100 percent conversion rate and now my alts can still find groups doing inf 3 full runs where they have enough cr and not being carried and the highest runs I saw were for 44433 but they are not the only option to get full group. I personally love now being able to find groups fitting the level of my characters without much trouble. I also like that catching up on alts is faster. My alts should be at the level of my main in 2-3 months without a hardcore grind. And I also like that it lets me feel a reason to grind less and pick and choose which activities to do and burn out less. Though I understand for people who grind really hard and wanted to feel rewarded for that, now there is a limit on how much they can get ahead with that. Personally I think lowering the gap between new/alt and old players is overall good for the game but I can understand their frustration after being used to how it was for so long. I also like how we don’t immediately get to kill the end boss once we hit para 600 700 800 etc even if we have full upgrades but we actually need to progress through the weeks to get enough cr to kill it.

Have to say for a mid lvl player who was becoming discouraged it has helped breathe new life into my game! I made my alt my new main because he had better gems than my main to try and save time. Thus I was miles behind gear and still am to a degree but oh so slowly my gear is creeping up. I find now that if war and mates aren’t online when I am then I can still make a gain solo. So for new players it must be incredible but I wonder how many new players there are in the game actually..but there will be a degree of mid lvl players who really are benefiting from this new system! That may be good for the future of the game. Now I’m not without sympathy for people who’ve put in the work and got their gear to lvl 30 real credit to them, we don’t all have the time or opportunity but still enjoy playing. I’m one of the lucky mid lvl players I’m in a supportive clan who don’t mind carrying me in higher raids and challenge dungeons so I’m almost at lvl 24 for all my leg gear. That’s a target I doubt I’d ever been able to reach without this system!! And perhaps a nod to the small amount of players who go solo..might be a good source for those guys.. Perhaps then the fun in game is the interaction between a mix of levels - at times I’m truly in awe of the damage output from clan mates and also randoms! (Which is my fear of the potential negatives of the dreaded dps meter by the way…) And it’s something to aspire too. Our clan sends the strongest team we have into Rite and Shadow war and we all get behind them..banter is awesome. Something else the game has that keeps us playing! I’m trying to think how I’d feel if I was maxed out with everything and that’s where it comes down to either a sense of accomplishment and focus heavily on PvP or throw myself into clan activities but I’d certainly feel relaxed that I could also join in with outside world activities as the game has released me from the burden of endless grinding 🥳🙌👏❤️. Still there’s also the money side of things but if I’ve spent to get that far I think I’d be committed to still enjoying the game and the new elements that have been added I’d say are a great sign the devs are trying to improve things. @@craigdaly5111 Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. It sounds like you've found yourself a nice community to play in which can be a big part of enjoying the game to it's fullest 🙂 As far a seekers path goes, it's a decent system overall in terms of the material rewards we can get at each seeker rank and will help with gear ranks. I am playing a lacarate build that does primary attack damage, so would it be better for me to again reforge all the critical hit chance to primary attack damage increase? Thanks in advance!
That's a little odd. Are you doing damage tests on the dummy. The only thing I could think of is it being a dummy bug. A few skills and damage calculations can be bugged when it comes to that. I would suggest to try the test again on some real monsters. I usually like to do it on Blood Rose in Inferno 3/4
So... would you still HAVE TO run raids with the wb using your 5/5 runs? Do you get more or less if you do raids with or without your wb. From my understanding, you get more with your wb and less solo or with other people that's not in your wb during reset.
Running with WB helps if you want the legendary crest token or if you want to run for leaderboards (still requires 8 WB members). But I do recall that last week even when I’ve capped 9600 BP points, I’m still getting Activity Points when doing bounties and dungeons, it appears as 0 BP and 108 activity points for example.
Probably they secretly changed, as there’s an update yesterday, but I still hope it just a bug.
@@LameJaiI think the first week of update could get activity after BP cap because I remember 0Bp and 120 activity, but now 0 activity after capping BP
que hace mas daño en pve xd tempes o mago saludos
👍🏻
The new update has made me not want to play anymore...too much shit to do as it without all this new stuff
@@ashdavies3218 It can get overwhelming sometimes. I recommend to stick to doing only the activities you like to do and have time for. It can feel like you need to do everything to keep up with others but in the long run almost every system in the game has diminishing returns for grinders and catch-up mechanics for all players who are a little behind
There are very few exceptions to this like daily normal gem grinding but that also has a cap and players are able to "catch up" by spending real money there if they wish..
I agree. Too much shit to do while retaining the excessively grindy mentality they had in the beginning. It can ve extremely overwhelming while not terribly rewarding.
@@Mao_DI thanks for the reply buddy. Maybe you can show me how to enjoy the game like you do. I play on the same server as you. I'm in Empyrean
